Objective : Stroke is a common disease with central nervous system injury as the main pathological process, which is accompanied by paralysis, spasticity, cognitive dysfunction and so on.Especially, the mobility ability of the patients is limited in varying degrees, which obviously affects the quality of life of the patients.Although there are some changes in the lower limb motor function of stroke patients after treatment,it is difficult to satisfy the patients because of the long course of treatment, the high cost of application, and the difficulty to popularize it and other reasons for improving the motor function of lower extremities in patients. In this paper,we use Discovery of Posture Secret as a new physiotherapy method to investigate the effect of postural adjustment on lower limb motor function in stroke patients. Methods:From November 2017 to September 2018,40 stroke patients were selected from affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. They were divided into two groups: treatment group(n = 20)and control group(n = 20).The control group was treated with routine rehabilitation therapy, including neuro developmental therapy, muscle strength training, balance training and task-oriented training, for 40 minutes a day,5 days a week, for a total of4 weeks. The treatment group was treated with Discovery of Posture Secret on the basis of routine rehabilitation treatment. The contents of this technique were to find out signs of non-neutral position of all joints in the whole body and to adjust the position and function of joints and muscles. The patients were treated for 10 minutes daily,5 days a week for 4weeks.Before treatment,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment, the lower limb Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment(Fugl-Meyer Assessment FMA),Holden walking function grading(Functional Ambulation Category,FAC),10-meter walking test,6-minute walking test, timed up and go test(TUGT)were assessed. Results:Before treatment, there was no significant difference in FMA score,FAC score,TUGT timing test,10 MWT and 6MWT between the two groups. After 2 weeks of treatment, there was significant difference in 10 MWT and 6MWT between the two groups(p < 0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(p > 0.05).The FMA score of the two groups was significantly higher than that before treatment, but there was no significant difference between the two groups, and the TUGT of the two groups was significantly improved compared with that before treatment, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(p > 0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the FAC score and FMA score of the treatment group were further improved compared with those before treatment, and the level of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(p < 0.05).The TUGT,10 WMT,6MWT test of the two groups was significantly different from that of the pre-treatment group(p < 0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(p > 0.05).Conclusion : The results showed that the lower limb function was improved by Discovery of Posture Secret, especially in Fugl-Meyer score and Hold walking function. Therefore, the Discovery of Posture Secret can be used as a new method to improve the motor function of lower limbs in patients with stroke.
