Objective: To provide the basis and guidance for the next multicenter study and to popularize and applicate the Vanderbilt ADHD Rating Scales in China. Methods: The Growth,Development and Mental Health of Children and Adolescence Center,Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, chidren aged 6 to 12 years, who were diagnosed ADHD by the specialized doctors according to the DSM-IV criterias and clinical interviews, were included between November 2018 and January 2019.The SNAP-IV scales and Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic Rating Scales(VADPRS and VADTRS)were filled in by these patients and their parents and teachers. The reliability and factor structure of the VADPRS and VADTRS were evaluated. Results: 89(VADPRS)and 75(VADTRS)children were met the inclusion criterias. The average age for participants was(8.45±1.61)(VADPRS),(8.30±1.52)(VADTRS).The boys to girls ratio is 3.24 to 1(VADPRS),3.68 to 1(VADTRS).VADPRS Internal Consistency Cronbach's ? coefficients is 0.896.The Cronbach's ? coefficients of attention deficit,hyperactivity/impulsivity,oppositional defiant, conduct disorder,anxiety/depression and performance subsales were respectively 0.804?0.862?0.856?0.709?0.885?0.624.VADTRS Internal Consistency Cronbach's ? coefficients is 0.915.The Cronbach's ? coefficients of attention deficit,hyperactivity/impulsivity,oppositional defiant,anxiety/depression and performance subsales were respectively 0.807,0.891,0.905,0.884,0.595.The Cronbach coefficient of the performance subscale was respectively0.631,0.678,after removing item 40 and item 41.The spearman correlation coefficient for full VADPRS and each item was between-.005 and 0.618(P < 0.010).The spearman correlation coefficient for full VADPRS and item 51 was-0.005,and full scales and item7,36,37,38,48,49 were between 0.120 and 0.201.The spearman correlation coefficient for six subscales of VADPRS and each item were between 0.539 and 0.664(P<0.010),0.510 and 0.750(P<0.010),0.494 and 0.872(P<0.010),0.223 and 0.691(P<0.010),0.609 and 0.811(P<0.010),0.303 and 0.668(P<0.010).0.223 and 0.691(P<0.010).The spearman correlation coefficient for full VADTRS and each item was between-0.013 and 0.698(P<0.010).The spearman correlation coefficient for full VADTRS and item 38 was-0.013,and full scales and item27,42,43 were 0.159,0.183,0.166.The spearman correlation coefficient for five subscales of VADTRS and each item were between 0.449 and 0.768(P<0.010),0.550 and 0.834(P<0.010),0.298 and 0.803(P<0.010),0.669 and 0.813(P<0.010),0.327 and 0.705(P<0.010).The KMO and Bartlett of VADPRS were0.767 and 698.649(P<0.010),and VADTRS were 0.820 and 626.170(P<0.010).The maximum variance method was used to extract four factors explained the variance of 60.976%(parent version)and 64.436%(teacher version). The confirmatory factor analysis for VADTRS(items 1-18)showed the fitting index of the 3-factor model was better than that of the 2-factor model.Except the path coefficient of "attention deficit" latent variable was different from that of "item 6-8" latent variable at the level of 0.05,the other path coefficients were significantly different at the level of 0.01,and the variance estimates were significantly different(P < 0.01).Conclusion: The preliminary reliability analysis of the Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic Rating Scales were reliable, and the structural validity analysis were not ideal. The multicenter study of the psychometric analysis of the Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic Rating Scales should be carried out.
