Language is the most important tool for human communication. It is an important way to express thoughts and feelings, including pronunciation, understanding and expression.Language plays a decisive role in children's development. It can help children establish and expand their understanding of the external environment, and promote the development of their personality and the normal progress of their socialization.Children with language retardation are not only difficult to communicate and express their thoughts with others in their lives, but also seriously affect their cognitive ability and neurological development.Language retardation is a common problem among children.Studies show that children who are intervened at the age of 2 can catch up with their normal peers at the age of 3.Therefore,language rehabilitation training is closely related to whether children with language retardation can integrate into the mainstream society, and whether children with language retardation can live and learn like children of the same age. Therefore,it is particularly important to identify the occurrence of language retardation in children as early as possible and give effective scientific intervention in time. Objective:By studying the related factors of children with language retardation, the independent risk factors of children with language retardation were identified, and the understanding of the disease was improved, which provided scientific basis for early clinical detection and comprehensive intervention. Methods:From June 2016 to June 2018,the children under 6 years old in the children health clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Chengde Medical College of Hebei Province were studied. The parents of the children filled out questionnaires related to the relevant research contents, and the specially trained personnel used Gesell Infant and Child Development Scale for development assessment. There were 65 cases of language development problems, including 45 males and 20 females. The ratio of males to females was 2.25:1.A total of 61 children with normal language development who visited the pediatric care clinic in the same period were selected as controls.Statistical analysis was carried out to assess the related risk factors of children's language development backwardness.Results:1.The average age of children with language retardation was 29.3 months, and the average age of first finding language problems was 24.4 months. The difference was 4.9 months.2.High risk factors of pregnancy, intrauterine growth retardation, premature infants, neonatal brain damage, parenting style, main caregivers, family language types, and father's educational level are the high risk factors of language retardation.P values were < 0.05.3.Multivariate regression analysis showed that intrauterine growth retardation, premature birth, parenting style, main caregivers and family language types were independent risk factors for language retardation in children.P values were < 0.05.Conclusion:Pregnancy health care should be done well, eugenics should be advocated and nurses and caregivers should be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of language development in time, and early detection and intervention should be carried out to promote children's language development.
