Objective:Generalized anxiety disorder(GAD)is a persistent fear of no obvious cause and fixed content, often accompanied by physical symptoms.GAD not only affects the mental state of patients, but also affects autonomic function, leading to a decline in social function, causing pain to patients and their families, and burdening society. In the study of traditional Chinese medicine,"liver stagnation fire syndrome"is a major syndrome of GAD.A large number of studies on GAD cerebral hemodynamics have been conducted, showing that GAD’s cerebral blood flow autoregulation is reduced[1],and that CVR for depression is reduced[2].There is little research on the relationship between generalized anxiety disorder(liver stagnation fire syndrome)and cerebrovascular reactivity. Therefore, this topic will explore the correlation between them.To provide a basis for further understanding of GAD,prevention or early detection of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and development of new treatments. Methods:Patients who met the criteria were enrolled. The patients were scored on the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)(14 items)and the Depression Rating Scale(HAMD)(24 items). The TCD was performed in parallel, the breath test was performed, and the relevant indicators were calculated and collected. The patient’s basic information determines the patient’s TCM syndrome type. The relationship between the relevant indicators was obtained through statistical analysis.RESULTS:(1)The test group and the control group were respectively the left middle cerebral artery. The VS,VD,and VM after holding the breath were greater than those before the breath holding, and the PI,RI,and S/D were less than those before the breath;the test group and the control group were respectively the right middle cerebral artery. The VS,VD,and VM after holding the breath were greater than those before the breath holding, and the PI,RI,and S/D were less than those before the breath;(2)The BHI of the left middle cerebral artery in the test group and the control group were statistically different, and the experimental group The BHI value was smaller than that of the control group;the BHI of the right middle cerebral artery in the experimental group and the control group were statistically different, and the BHI value of the test group was smaller than that of the control group;(3)The right middle cerebral artery PI of the test group and the control group before the breath holding There was a statistical difference. The PI value of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group.(4)There was a statistical difference in the VM,PI,and RI between the experimental group and the control group after the breath holding, and the test group VM was smaller than the control group,PI,RI was greater than the control group;the VM,PI,and RI of the right middle cerebral artery were statistically different between the experimental group and the control group, and the test group VM was smaller than the control group,PI and RI were larger than the control group;(5)the left side of the test group Middle cerebral artery BHI,pre-screening PI,RI,S/D and anxiety There was no statistical difference in the degree;(6)There was a statistical difference in the degree of PI,RI,S/D and anxiety between the right middle cerebral artery in the right side of the experimental group, and mild to moderate and moderate and severe anxiety in the right middle cerebral artery.PI,RI,S/D were statistically significant. There were no statistically significant differences in PI,RI,and S/D in the right middle cerebral artery between mild and severe anxiety.(7)HAMA score and generalized anxiety disorder(liver stagnation fire syndrome)There was no statistical significance in the left BHI and right BHI of the patients.Conclusion:(1)Patients with generalized anxiety disorder(liver stagnation fire syndrome)have CVR impairment;(2)This study found that HAMA score and left BHI,right BHI in patients with generalized anxiety disorder(liver stagnation fire syndrome)No correlation;(3)The degree of anxiety affects the right middle cerebral artery PI,RI,S/D.Mild to moderate, moderate, and severe anxiety were associated with PI,RI,and S/D in the right middle cerebral artery. There was no correlation between PI,RI,and S/D in the right middle cerebral artery with mild and severe anxiety.
