Objective:To understand the incidence and related risk factors of thyroid nodules in type 2 diabetes patients in zhangjiakou area, and to further prevent the formation of thyroid nodules. Methods:Randomly in June 2017 to September 2018 in northern hebei institute of the first affiliated hospital endocrine division in the hospital, has the perfect data of 360 patients with diabetes, thyroid colour to exceed as the research object, the complete clinical data were collected for analysis, the research object according to the presence of thyroid nodule is divided into two groups, comparison between the two groups of gender, age, body mass index(BMI),waist hip ratio(WHR),insulin resistance index(HOMA.IR,FPG,HbAlc,TG,TC,hdl-c,ldl-c,serum homocysteine, serum uric acid,T3,T4,FT3,FT4,TSH,TgAb,TPOAb,blood pressure, metabolic syndrome(MS),smoking, anxiety and depression, sleep quality.Fasting blood glucose(6.0mmol/L,6.1 ~ 6.9mmol/L,7.0mmol/L),BMI(23.9kg/m 2,24.0 ~ 27.9kg/m 2,28.0kg/m 2),blood pressure status(normal blood pressure, elevated blood pressure, grade 1 hypertension, grade 2 hypertension),HOMA.IR(0 ~ 2.4,2.5 ~ 4.9,5.0 ~),anxiety(no anxiety, mild anxiety, moderate anxiety, severe anxiety),depression(no depression, mild depression, moderate depression, severe depression),sleep(good,ok,average, poor)were divided into subgroups, and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was performed. Results:Gender, age,BMI,WHR,HOMA were higher in the group with thyroid nodules than in the group without thyroid nodules.IR,FPG,HbAlc,hdl-l,TSH,TgAb,TPOAb,diastolic blood pressure,MS,anxiety, depression, sleep quality, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P < 0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in FT3,FT4,T3,T4,TC,TG,LDL-C,systolic blood pressure, smoking, serum homocysteine and serum uric acid between the two groups(P > 0.05).Age,BMI,HOMA.IR,as well as depression and sleep quality, are independent risk factors for thyroid nodules in patients with type 2 diabetes.Conclusion:1.The older the patient is,the higher the incidence of thyroid nodules will be.Diabetes patients over 50 years old will have a higher incidence. The incidence of thyroid nodules is higher in women than in men.2.The worse the blood glucose control, the higher the body mass index, and the higher the incidence of thyroid nodules in patients with grade 2 hypertension. To prevent the occurrence of thyroid nodules, patients with type 2 diabetes should control their blood pressure, weight and blood glucose.3.The incidence of thyroid nodules may be correlated with psychological state and sleep. For patients with diabetes, more attention should be paid to their psychological state and sleep quality, and certain psychological intervention should be given when necessary.4.For diabetes mellitus complicated with hashimoto’s disease and subclinical hypothyroidism,we should pay attention to the screening of thyroid color ultrasound.
