| Objective:To study the application of positioning beads in the operation of glioma in functional area,compare the differences of he tumor resection rate,the patient’s time of hospitalization and postoperative KPS score between the experimental group and the control group,evaluate the value of the positioning beads in the operation.Methods: 20 patients with glioma in the Department of Neurosurgery of The First People’s Hospital Of Changde City from March 2017 to December 2017 were selected.Cases were selected strictly according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and were randomly included in the experimental group and the control group.The two groups of patients were routinely examined before surgery.The imaging data were fused with the neuronavigation system,the tumor location was determined,the relationship between the tumor and the functional area was determined.The surgical approach was designed.The experimental group was designed to mark the border of the tumor by the neuronavigation system before reciting the tumor.The tumor margin waslocated by beads to guide surgical resection,while the control group located the tumor boundary by neuronavigation system only.The two groups were monitored by electrophysiological monitoring during operation.The data of two groups of patients were collected,and the differences of sex,age,tumor nature,tumor volume,preoperative KPS score,hospitalization time,tumor residual volume,tumor resection rate and postoperative KPS score were compared.Results:There was no significant difference in sex,age,tumor nature,tumor size and preoperative KPS score between the two groups,P > 0.05;the two groups had a significant difference in hospitalization time,P <0.05;there was a significant difference in the residual volume of tumor in the two groups,P < 0.05;the tumor resection rate in the two group had a significant difference.There was a significant difference in the KPS score between the two groups,P < 0.05.Conclusion: The method of locating the tumor boundary with the positioning beads through the neuronavigation can improve the tumor resection rate,shorten the patient’s time of hospitalization and improve the postoperative KPS score of the patients.It has certain value in the operation of the glioma in functional area. |
