ObjectiveChronic urticaria is the most common of mucosal allergic disease in dermatology clinic of mainland. The pathogenesis of this disease is very complicated, most of them can not find the cause,so it is difficult to prevent and cure. Moreover, the incidence of chronic urticaria is high in clinic. The main treatment is oral antihistamines. The effect is effective, but it is easy to recur and hard to heal.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)therapy can both preventing and treat diseases. The bladder meridian of foot-taitang is the largest detoxification passage of human body, the method of removing poisons by slide cupping method. This topic is treatment of chronic urticaria patients with bladder meridian of foot-taitang through slide cupping, through the clinical experience. To observe the effect of slide cupping treatment of chronic urticaria. The slide cupping method is safe, effective, less side effects, convenient operation, economic benefit and low recurrence rate.Widely used in clinic. To develop treatment of diseases with TCM therapy and to further improve the prevention and treatment of this disease.MethodsThis study collected chronic urticaria patients from dermatology clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM.According to the diagnostic criteria for addictive urticaria issued by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1994,the criteria for diagnostic efficacy of TCM diseases and syndromes are included in the criteria and excluded diagnostic criteria. There were 80 case and divided two groups. The 40 cases in treatment group were treated by Slide Cupping and oral fexofenadine.40 cases in control group were treated by oral fexofenadine. The total course of treatment was 4 weeks. The efficacy was observed before treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment and recorded adverse reactions during the experiment. The clinical effects were evaluated by using the European MILOR scale and symptom score reducing index(SSRI)as reference values. The data were analyzed by SPSS25.0 statistical software,t-test and Pearson chi-square according to the relevant standards of medical statistics.Bilateral test was used in all statistical experiments, and the difference was statistically significant at P<0.05,and extremely significant at P<0.01.ResultIn this study,80 clinical cases were selected and divided into two groups:40 cases in treatment group and 40 cases control group.Among them,0 cases were excluded and 0 cases were dropped out,and 80 cases had completed clinical observation.A total of this study collected 39 male patients and 41 female patients and an average age was 33.7811.964.The treatment group were 21 male patients and 19 female patients, average age was 34.5511.536,which was divided into 29 youth patients,9 middle-aged patients and 2 elderly patients. The control group were 18 male patients and 22 female patients, average age was 33.0012.476,which was divided into 32 youth patients,6 middle-aged patients and 2 elderly patients.Statistical analysis between two groups showed that there was no significant difference in gender and age(P>0.05).The clinical symptoms scores of the two groups before treatment were compared with the European MILOR scale. There was no significant difference in clinical symptoms between the two groups(P>0.05).Comparing the condition between two groups, after 2 weeks of treatment,X2 =1.333,P=0.513 showed no significant difference(P>0.05);after 4 weeks of treatment,X2=7.688,P=0.021 showed significant difference(P<0.05).Comparing the total curative effect between two groups, after 2 weeks of treatment, the patients in the treatment group were cured in 0 cases(0%),markedly effective in 0 cases(0%),effective in 12 cases(30%),ineffective in 28 cases(70%)and total effective rate in 12 cases(30%).In the control group,0 cases(0%)were cured,0 cases(0%)were markedly effective,7 cases(17.5%)were effective,33 cases(82.5%)were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 7 cases(17.5%).Statistical analysis showed that t =1.311,P=0.009,indicating a significant difference(P<0.01).After 4 weeks of treatment, the patients in the treatment group were cured in 1 case(2.5%),markedly effective in 1 case(2.5%),effective in 30 cases(75%)and ineffective in 8 cases(20%)and the total effective rate was 32 cases(80%).The control group was cured in 1 case(2.5%),markedly effective in 0 cases(0%),effective in 17 cases(42.5%)and ineffective in 22 cases(55%).The total effective rate was 18 cases(45%).Statistical analysis showed that t=3.424,P=0.000,indicating a significant difference(P<0.01).Conclusion1.The symptoms of chronic urticaria patients observed between the treatment group and the control group were significantly better after treatment.2.After treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 30%in the second week after treatment, while that of the control group was 17.5%.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(T=1.311,P=0.009<0.01),indicating a significant difference(P<0.01).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 80%and that of the control group was 45%.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(T=3.424,P = 0.000<0.01),indicating a significant difference(P<0.01).3.The curative effect of treating chronic urticaria by cupping the bladder meridian of foot-taitang combined with fexofenadine is better than that of only taking fexofenadine, and no adverse reactions were found.
