Objective : Objective to investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of chai xiang decoction in the treatment of Post-stroke depression with liver depression and spleen deficiency.Methods : 66 subjects included in this study were randomly divided into treatment group(chai xiang decoction)and control group(Deanxit),and the course of treatment was 8 weeks.Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)and TCM symptom score were used to evaluate the efficacy.The treatment emergent side effects were assessed by TESS.Results:1.Before treatment,HAMD,HAMA and TCM symptom scores of liver depression and spleen deficiency in the two groups showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.After the treatment,both chaixiangdecoction group and Deanxit group could significantly reduce the scores of HAMD,HAMA and TCM symptoms of liver depression and spleen deficiency,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Both chaixiangdecoction and Deanxit could improve the symptoms of post-stroke depression of liver depression and spleen deficiency.After treatment,the difference in symptom score of liver depression and spleen deficiency between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.75%.The total effective rate in the control group was 81.25%,indicating that chai xiang decoction had better effect in improving symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine than Deanxit.2.In this study,1patient in the control group experienced mild diarrhea and improved symptoms after taking the medicine after meals,and continued to be included in the treatment.The safety evaluation indexes of the treatment group and the control group were compared before and after treatment,and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Chai-xiangdecoction and Deanxit are both safe and effective;Chai xiang decoction has a significant effect on improving patients’ depressive mood and symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,which is worthy of continuous exploration. |
