Clinical Observation Of Shangke Jiuwei Jiangu Tablets Combined With Extracorporeal Shock Wave For The Treatment Of Long Shaft Fracture Bone Nonunion

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of Jiuwei jiangu tablets combined with shock wave in the treatment of long shaft fracture bone nonunion.MethodsFrom January 2017 to March 2018,50 patients of long shaft fracture bone nonunion who were in the orthopedic hospital treatment of Zhongshan hospital of TCM were equally divided into two groups,according to the inclusion criteria.Two groups were be cured the same extra corporeal shock wave therapy.On this basis,the experimental group was treated with Jiuweijiangu tablet while the control group was not treated with Jiuwei jiangu tablet and only used the extra corporeal shock wave therapy.The observational period of treatment is nine months.Callus score,clinical healing time,local complications and limb function grade were recorded and compared between two groups on each time point after therapy,and then using SPSS 21.0 software for statistical analysis.Results1.A total of 50 patients were enrolled and 2 subjects were dropped out.One in the treatment group and one in the control group.The final 48 cases completed the experiment,24 in the treatment group and 24 in the control group.2.There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of sex,age,location,fracture type and fixation material type(P>0.05).The baseline between the two groups was balanced and comparable.3.There was no significant difference in callus score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,the callus scores of both groups were improved(P<0.01),and the callus scores increased with time(P<0.01);the cal]us scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group in the 3rd,6th and 9th month(P<0.01).4.Compared with the control group,the clinical healing time of the experimental group was shorter,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparing the clinical healing ability of the two groups,the healing rate of the two group were 98.3%and 70.8%.The clinical healing ability of the experimental group was better than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).6.Comparing the functional recovery of affected limbs of the two groups,the excellent and good rate of two group were 87.5%and 66.7%.The functional recovery of affected limbs of the experimental group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionShangke Jiuwei Jiangu tablets combined with extracorporeal shock wave to treat long shaft fracture bone nonunion is effective,which can accelerate fracture healing,promote callus and improve the functional recovery of affected limbs.The therapy is safety with no obvious adverse reactions and worthy of clinical promotion.
