Objective: To explore the expressions of fibrous sheath interacting protein 1(FSIP1),mouse double minute(MDM2)and transcription factor GATA binding protein 3(GATA3)in benign breast lesions and breast cancer and their relationships with clinicopathological features.Methods: Immunohistochemistry was undertaken to detect the expression of FSIP1,MDM2 and GATA3 in 63 cases of breast cancer tissues and 44 cases of benign breast lesions,and the correlation between them and association between them and molecular subtypes ER、PR and Her-2 expression of breast cancer,and the relationship between them and clinical pathological parameters(age,tumor size,lymph node metastasis,histological grade,TNM stage,proliferation index Ki-67)were evaluated.Results: The positive expression rate of FSIP1 in breast cancer tissues and in benign breast lesions were 71.43%(45/63)and 36.36%(16/44)respectively,and the positive expression rate of MDM2 in breast cancer tissues and in benign breast lesions were 79.36%(50/63)and 54.55%(24/44)respectively,and the positive expression rate of GATA3 in breast cancer tissues and in benign breast lesions were 63.49%(40/63)and 90.91%(40/44)respectively.The expression rate of FSIP1 and MDM2 in breast cancer tissues was higher than that in benign breast lesions.The expression rate of GATA3 in breast cancer tissues was lower than that in benign breast lesions(P<0.05).Correlation analysis of breast cancer: the expression of FSIP1 was positively correlated with the expression of MDM2(?=0.459,P<0.01);the expression of FSIP1 was negatively correlated with the expression of GATA3(?=-0.334,P<0.01);the expression of MDM2 was a negatively correlated with the expression of GATA3(?=-0.305,P<0.05).The positive expression rate of FSIP1 and MDM2 in patients with large size was higher than that small size(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of GATA3 in patients with large size was lower than that small size(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of FSIP1 and MDM2 in patients with lymph node metastasis was higher than that without metastasis(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of GATA3 in patients with lymph node metastasis was lower than that without metastasis(P<0.05);The positive expression rate of FSIP1 and MDM2 in TNM stage III-IV breast cancer patients was higher than that in stage I-II(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of GATA3 in TNM stage III-IV breast cancer patients was lower than I-II stage(P<0.05);The positive expression rate of FSIP1 and MDM2 in breast cancer patients with high proliferation index Ki-67 was higher(P<0.05),and the positive expression rate of GATA3 was lower in breast cancer patients with higher proliferation index Ki-67(P<0.05).In addition,the positive expression rate of FSIP1 in PR and Her-2 positive breast cancer was higher(P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between the positive rate of FSIP1 expression and age,histological grade and ER status(P>0.05).The positive expression rate of MDM2 in PR-negative breast cancer was higher(P<0.05),There was no significant correlation between the positive rate of MDM2 expression and age,histological grade and ER、PR status(P>0.05).The positive expression rate of GATA3 in histological grade 1-2 breast cancer was higher than grade 3(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of GATA3 in EP and PR positive breast cancer was higher(P<0.05).The positive rate of GATA3 expression was not related to age and Her-2 status(P>0.05).There was no significant correlation between them and age of breast cancer patients.Conclusion: The expression rate of FSIP1 and MDM2 in breast cancer tissues was higher than that in benign breast lesions.The expression rate of GATA3 in breast cancer tissues was lower than that in benign breast lesions.It was closely associated with lymph node metastasis,histological grade,TNM stage and the status of ER,PR,Her-2 and may be of great value in the diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of breast carcinoma.
