| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine high-retention enema combined with oral probiotics for the treatment of slow transit constipation, evaluate the effectiveness and treatment effect of this treatment according to the test results, and analyze the possible effective mechanism according to its recent efficacy,so as to provide new ideas and new treatment methods for the clinical treatment of slow transit constipation. Methods: The first 120 patients with slow transit constipation who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 4 groups, with 30,27,29 and 34 patients in each group. The treatment group was treated with Chinese medicine high retention enema and oral probiotics.Control group 1 was treated with Chinese medicine high retention enema;Control group 2 was treated with colonic hydrotherapy and oralprobiotics.Control group 3 was treated with polyethylene glycol 4000 powder orally. The total effective rate, the result of colonic transit test in pretherapy and post-treatment and the symptom score were used to evaluate and analyze the therapeutic effect of each group. Results: After 1 month follow-up,the total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than the three control groups(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.3%.The total effective rate of the three control groups was 85.2%,69.0% and 64.7%.All patients in the four groups showed significant improvement in symptoms, and the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).The results of colonic transport test indicated that the four treatment methods could accelerate the colon transport speed, but the number of excreted markers in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the three control groups(P<0.05)..Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine high-retention enema combined with oral probiotics has obvious overall efficacy, lasting effect and high safety in the treatment of slow transit constipation. It can improve the symptoms of constipation such as dry bowels, low frequency of defecation, long defecation time, and laborious defecation, enhance the colonic transport function, and prevent the occurrence of intestinal microecological imbalance aggravated by enema treatment. This method is worthy of being popularized and applied in the future clinical treatment. |
