| Objective: To investigate the clinical characteristics and related factors of patients with membranous nephropathy complicated with malignant tumor. Methods: Clinical records of 226 patients admitted to the first affiliated hospital of Guangxi Medical University from March 2015 to June 2018 and diagnosed with membranous nephropathy by renal biopsy were collected.Among them,10 patients with malignant tumors were taken as the tumor group and the remaining 216 patients with idiopathic membranous nephropathy served as the control group. The clinical characteristics and related factors of tumor group and control group were compared.Results:1.The mean age of renal biopsy was 57.10±11.62 years old in the tumor group and 47.20±14.02 years old in the control group, the mean age of renal biopsy in the tumor group was older than that in the control group(P< 0.05).2.Serum IgA in tumor group was higher than that in control group, with statistically significant differences(P< 0.05).3.Among the 10 patients with membranous nephropathy complicated with malignant tumors, skin malignant tumors were the majority, with a total of 4cases(40.0%).4.Among the 10 patients with membranous nephropathy complicated with malignant tumors,4 patients with cutaneous malignant tumors and 1 patient with cervical cancer all had a history of glucocorticoid and immunosuppressive use before tumor diagnosis.Conclusion:1.The older the patients with membranous nephropathy, the more they need to be aware of the occurrence of malignant tumors.2.In the treatment of membranous nephropathy with glucocorticoid and immunosuppressive agents, the occurrence of malignant tumors, especially Kaposi sarcoma, should be warned. |
