| ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of enhanced external counterpulsation(EECP)on plasma lipoprotein phospholipase A2(LP-PLA2)levels,Vascular diastolic function in patients with unstable angina.MethodOne hundred and ninety two patients with unstable angina treated in our hospital were randomly divided into routine treatment group(control group n=97)and external counterpulsation group(observation group n=95,routine treatment plus external counterpulsation therapy,30 min / time,2time/day,total of 30 day, total of 60 times). All selected subjects were tested for LP-PLA2 levels on the day of enrollment and on the 30 th day of treatment, and color Doppler ultrasonography was used to detect arterial blood flow-mediated vasodilation(FMD)and nitroglycerinmediated vasodilation(NMD).ResultsCompared with pre-treatment: the level of LP-PLA2(215.367±70.380)versus(202.749±65.702)decreased after treatment in the EECP group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),and FMD(6.431±0.287)versus(6.437±0.287)、NMD(14.202±0.781)versus(14.261±0.776)were higher than before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment in the control group,LP-PLA2(220.114±101.091)versus(215.859 ±92.894)、FMD(6.473±0.324)versus(6.475±0.323)、NMD(14.150±0.882)versus(14.170 ± 0.876)had no significant change than before treatment(P>0.05).Observation between two groups found that the difference of FMD and NMD in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.01),while the difference of LP-PLA2 in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).After treatment,FMD and NMD in EECP group were significantly higher than before treatment.LP-PLA2 in EECP group was significantly lower than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).ConclusionEnhanced external counterpulsation can reduce the level of LP-PLA2 in patients with unstable angina and improve arterial blood flow-mediated vasodilation and nitroglycerin-mediated vasodilation. |
