| Objective: To conduct a meta-analysis of the anti-inflammatory effects of14-membered macrolide antibiotics in the treatment of chronic sinusitis. Methods:Pubmed,Embase,Cochrane Library,Chinese Academic Journal Full-text Database(CNKI),China Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),Wanfang Database and other Chinese and English databases search for macrolides for the treatment of chronic sinusitis. In the selection of clinical trials, the literature was selected according to the inclusion exclusion criteria, valid data extraction, and statistical analysis was performed using stata software. Results: A total of 9 studies were used for meta-analysis.The results showed that the macrolide group(hereinafter referred to as the test group)was superior to the nasal spray group(referred to as the control group)in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis. The following is the meta-analysis of the nine articles included in the study.1 A meta-analysis of the overall effectiveness of 7 articles: between the experimental group and the control group,[RR=1.24;95% CI(1.09,1.40)],the macrolide group was considered to be superior to the nasal spray. In the hormone group,2 in the patient’s combined symptoms and physical signs, between the experimental group and the control group, the measurement data of 4 articles were combined: headache and dizziness symptoms [WMD=0.45,95% CI(0.62,0.28)],salivation symptoms [WMD=-1.73;95% CI(-1.91,–1.58)],in terms of headache, dizziness, and improvement of salivation symptoms, the symptom scores of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group. There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in terms of improving the sense of smell. Conclusion: The treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis with 14-membered ring macrolides can improve the anti-inflammatory effect.Due to the number of articles included and the number of patients, the above conclusions need more high-quality excellent random doubles.A blinded controlled trial was used to further verify. |
