| Objective:To study chronic nasal-sinusitis patients’ situation after functional endoscopic sinus surgery(FESS) and application of macrocyclicesters (clarithromycin) and traditional Chinese medicine drugs (Zhu-Yuan soup). Then observed the symptoms improvement, the intranasal endoscopic nasal mucosa improvement and contrasted preoperative and postoperative CT improvement. This study, especially for Chinese populations, in order to broaden the chronic nasal-sinusitis clinical treatment of new ways to do some research, to provide a reference for the otolaryngologist clinical medicine.Methods:48cases of hospitalized patients met the inclusion criteria, the order in which they were admitted to hospital, patients will be divided into traditional Chinese medicine group of17patients, western medicine group of31patients. Chinese Medicines:after FESS and preoperative and postoperative conventional treatment together by Zhu-Yuan soup oral; western medicine group:FESS and preoperative and postoperative conventional treatment (clarithromycin). Recorded preoperative and postoperative nasal airway, runny nose, sense of smell, headache stretching, facial pain and other symptoms of scab off, mucosal edema, vesicles, the formation of polyps, nasal secretions, nasal endoscopic nasal mucosa changes and rate; preoperative postoperative nasal CT compared by statistical analysis and processing data to judge the efficacy and difference between western medicine and Chinese Medicines.Results:Two groups of symptoms after surgery than before surgery, significantly improved efficacy.Between the two groups, no significant difference between the efficacy improvement. Zhu-yuan soup curative effect and no significant side effects.It offers different options for the treatment of chronic nasal-sinusitis. |
