Clinical Observation Of Treating COPD Complicated By Insomia By Using Acupuncture Therapy

Objective:To observe the effects of acupuncture treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)complicated by insomnia on Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI score),CAT score,lung function(FEV1%,FVC%,FEV1/FVC),and to observe the clinical efficacy.Methods:Patients with COPD complicated by insomnia were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each group had 35 cases.Both groups were given basic medical treatment,The treatment group was treated with acupuncture Choose acupoints such as Feishu,Xinshu,Ganshu,Pishu and Shenshu,ete.acupuncture once a day,Both groups of treatments are 2 weeks.To observe and compare the clinical efficacy and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score,CAT score,and lung function indicators before and after trea(tment.Result:(1)The general situation analysis:Two cases droped out among the treatment groups,There were 33 cases in the treatment group and 35 cases in the control group who completed experiment finally.By statistical analysis,no significant difference was found in gender,age,COPD duration,P ittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)clinical efficacy analysis:After treatment.,The total effective rate in the treatment group was 96.9%.,which is higher than that in the control group(74.3%).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It can be seen that acupuncture is effective in treating COPD complicated by insomnia.(3)PSQI score comparison:After treatment,the PSQI scores of the treatment group and the control group were lower than those before(P<0.05),and after treatment the PSQI score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).(4)CAT score comparison:After treatment,the CAT scores of the treatment group and the control group were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The CAT score of the treatment group after treatment was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).(5)Comparison of lung function:After treatment,the lung function index scores(FEV1%,FVC.%,FEV1/FVC%)in the treatment group were higher than those before treatment,but the lung function indexes of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group after treatment,The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment of patients with COPD complicated by insomnia can improve the quality of sleep,CAT score and lung function,AT the same time,the clinical effect is significant.
