Objective:Through the clinical efficacy of exogenous mixture No.2combined with bitter cypress lotion in the treatment of common hand,foot and mouth disease in children,and to provide clinical basis and new treatment methods for the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of hand,foot and mouth disease in children.Methods:150 children with hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)who met the inclusion criteria of Western medicine diagnosis and TCM syndrome diagnosis were divided into three groups according to the order of visiting the doctor: bitter cypress lotion group,combined treatment group and anti-virus group,50 cases in each group.In the antiviral group,ribavirin granules were given orally on the basis of routine western medicine treatment.The dosage of ribavirin granules was 5.0-7.5 mg/kg twice a day for 5 days as a course of treatment.On the basis of antiviral treatment,the group of Kubai lotion was given to wash the children’s hands,feet,mouth and perianal herpes and rashes,once a day,for 5 days as a course of treatment.On the basis of routine treatment of Western medicine,the combined treatment group was treated with Kubai lotion(the same soaking method as that of Kubai lotion group)combined with Exogenous Mixture No.2 orally.The dosage was 10 ml/time,three times a day,and five days as a course of treatment.To observe the clinical effect of three groups of children before and after treatment.Results:(1)The total scores of the three groups were compared before and after treatment,showing a significant difference(P < 0.01),indicating that each group was effective.(2)The total score after treatment was compared in two ways: there was no significant difference between the Kubai lotion group,the combined treatment group and the antiviral group(P > 0.05);there was significant difference between the combined treatment group and the antiviral group(P < 0.01).(3)The improvement time of oral herpes,the time needed for fever abatement,the time needed for skin herpes subsidence,the time needed for infusion and the total course of disease in the combined treatment group were the shortest,followed by the bitter cypress lotion group and the antiviral group.There was significant difference(P < 0.01).(4)There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the Kubai lotion group and the combined treatment group and the antiviral group(P >0.05);the total effective rate of the combined treatment group was higher than that of the antiviral group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion: The combination of exogenous II mixture and Kubai lotion in the treatment of common hand-foot-mouth disease in children is clinically effective and worthy of clinical promotion and application.
