Clinical Study On The Tongtiaotangzhi Fang Treatment Of Type2 Diabetes Mellitus With Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Objective: In this study,Type2 Diabetes Mellitus(T2DM)combined with Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease(NAFLD)was treated with tongtiaotangzhi fang,to observe the clinical efficacy and medication safety of tongtiaotangzhi fang in the treatment of T2 DM combined with NAFLD,and to explore more possibilities of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of the Disease.Methods:72 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,36 patients in each group.The two groups were treated with diabetes(Diabetes Mellitus,DM),and the drugs controlling blood sugar were selected as metformin hydrochloride tablets(0.85g),the treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction at the same time as DM basic treatment,and the control group only underwent DM basic treatment for 12 weeks of clinical observation.Blood glucose(0h,2h),Hemoglobin(HbAlc),blood lipid routine,liver function,liver color doppler ultrasound,and clinical symptoms of Chinese medicine before and after treatment were compared between the two groups,and related statistics and analysis.Results:The results of the experimental study showed that the treatment group was able to effectively lower blood glucose(0h,2h),HbAlc,Triglycerides(Triglycerride,TG),Total Cholesterol(Total Cholesterol,TC),Low Density Lipoprotein(Low Density Lipoprotein-cholesterol,LDL-C),Aspartate aminotransferase,(Aspartate aminotransferase,AST),Alanine aminotransferase(Alanine Aminotransferase,ALT),Glutamyl transpeptidase(Glutamyl transpeptidase,GGT)and Liver Color Doppler The index was compared between the two groups(P<0.01 or P<0.05)and the high-density Lipoprotein-cholesterol(High Density Lipoprotein-cholesterol,HDL-C)was elevated.The treatment group also had significant improvement in the clinical symptoms of patients with traditional Chinese medicine.P < 0.01 between the two groups;the test patients were able to follow the doctor’s advice during the 12-week test period,no adverse reactions occurred.Conclusion:Tongtiaotangzhi Fang combined with metformin hydrochloride tablets forthe treatment of T2 DM with NAFLD has a significant clinical effect,can significantly reduce blood glucose(0h,2h),HbAlc,improve liver function,liver color Doppler index,and regulate lipid metabolism to some extent At the same time,it can also relieve the clinical symptoms of patients well,and the medication is safe and effective.It is a new treatment for T2 DM combined with NAFLD.
