Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Diabetic Neurogenic Bladder With Chinese Herbal Medicine And Mecobalamin

OBJECTIVE: To treat diabetic neurogenic bladder(DNB)patients with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)encapsulation combined with mecobalamin,and to provide evidence for its clinical application according to TCM clinical syndrome score and clinical efficacy of residual urine of bladder.Methods: 60 DNB patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases)according to random number table.The two groups were given basic treatment,including diet,exercise,diabetes education,hypoglycemic,hypotensive and lipid-lowering therapy.The control group was given routine western medicine neurotrophic therapy(methylcobalamin tablets: 0.5 mg/time,three times a day)while maintaining the original diabetic basis and hypoglycemic drugs.The treatment group was given traditional Chinese medicine encapsulation therapy on the basis of the control group.The two groups were treated for 4 weeks.The changes of bladder residual urine volume,TCM syndrome score and blood sugar in DNB patients before and after treatment were observed.Statistical analysis of each index was carried out and adverse reactions during the experiment were recorded.Results(1)Bladder residual urine: After treatment,the bladder residual urine volume of the two groups was significantly reduced compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05).After treatment,the difference of bladder residual urine volume between the two groups was compared(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was86%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 45%.It suggests that the traditional Chinese medicine encapsulation has a better effect in reducing bladder residual urine volume.(2)TCM syndrome integral: After treatment,TCM symptoms of DNB patients in both groups were improved(P < 0.05).After treatment,TCM syndrome integral was compared between the two groups.The decrease degree of TCM syndrome integral in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group(P <0.05),suggesting that TCM encapsulation therapy has a better effect in improving TCM symptoms.Conclusion: The therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine encapsulation combined with Mecobalamin on diabetic neurogenic bladder is better thanthat of mecobalamin alone,and it can improve the residual urine of bladder and the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine.
