The Clinical Effect Research Of Feijianzhifang In The Treatment Of Radiation Pneumonia

Objective: To Evaluate the pharmacodynamics and safty of self-made prescription “feijianzhifang” in the treatment of radiation pneumonia and to guide clinical practice.Methods: 75 subjects with radiation pneumonia who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomized to divide into western medicine group,traditional Chinese medicine group and comprehensive group in a 1:1:1 ratio.Subjects in western medicine group were administered orally with 40 mg/d prednisone,and then were given at less dosage according to the symptoms;subjects in traditional Chinese group were administered with“feijianzhifang”,and were asked to take for 1 bag of the prescription after morning and evening meal with walm water.On the basis of western medicine group,the comprehensive group was added to pulmonary interstitial prescription.If infection was combined,antibiotics were added.Then the three groups of subjects were observed for 4 weeks.The outcome indexes included: radioactivity damage classification,CT performance grading,KPS score,and clinical symptom score of traditional Chinese Medicine.Results: After treatment,classification of radiation lung injury,grading of chest CT performance were all reduced in 3 groups.The physical function of patients and clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine(p<0.05)were improved.The group of "feijianzhifang" combined with hormone was superior to the other two groups(p<0.05).The traditional Chinese medicine group was superior to the western medicine group in improving the physical function of patients and the clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese Medicine(p<0.05).There was no significant differences between Chinese medicine group and western medicine group in reducing the classification of radiation lung injury and grading of chest CT performance(p>0.05).Conclusion: "feijianzhifang" combined with hormone therapy could reduce the classification of radiation lung injury,promote the absorption of inflammation,improve the physical function of patients and clinical symptoms.It was an effective treatment for radiation pneumonitis.There is no hormone-free side effects with "feijianzhifang",it is safe and reliable,and can reduce the frequency of rebound phenomenon with hormone reduction."feijianzhifang" combined with hormone therapy could reduce the classification of radiation lung injury,promote the absorption of inflammation,improve the physical function of patients and clinical symptoms.It was an effective treatment for radiation pneumonitis.
