Clinical Observation Of Nalbuphine In Patients Undergoing Artificial Abortion

Objective To evaluate the analgesic efficacy and safety of nalbuphine in patients undergoing artificial abortion.Methods Eighty patients(60 ~ 80 years old)with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status(ASA)I or II undergoing artificial abortion are randomly devided into 2 groups(40 patients),which are nalbuphine group(group N).and propofol group(group P).Group P received intravenous propofol(3.0 mg/kg)anesthesia ang Group N nalbuphine 15 mg/ kg plus propofol 2 mg/ kg.According to patients’ body movement,all patients added 0.5-1mg/kg Propofol injection to maintain the depth of anesthesia.SBP,DBP,HR and Sp O2 before anesthesia(T0),after eyelash reflex disappeared(T1),surgery begins(T2),after surgery(T3)and when came to senses(T4)in each group were observed and recorded.Body movement,bradycardia,low blood pressure,respiratory depreession,nausea and vomiting in each group were observed and recorded.The operation time,consumption of propofol and time to eyes opening were recorded.Visual analogue scale(VAS)scores at 10,20,40 minute after surgery were recorded.Results The SBP,DBP and HR in each group at T1 were significantly lower than T0,SBP and DBP at T1 in group P was lower than group N,with statistical significances(P<0.05).Compared with group P,the recovery time and orientation time were shorter,the amount of propofol were smaller in group N(P<0.05).The incidence of intraoperative body movement during operation in group N was lower than group P.Compared with group P,the postperative analgesic effects of group N were better with statistical significances(P<0.05).VAS score of uterine contraction at 10,20,40 minute after surger in group N was statistically significantly lower than that in group P(P<0.05);Compared with group P,the incidence of low blood pressure and respiratory depreession in group N was lower(P<0.05);No significant differences were found among two groups in nausea and vomiting.(P>0.05)Conclusion The application of nalbuphine in patients undergoing artificial abortion can maintain stable haemodynamic and the incidence of asverse reactions such as respiratory depreession was low.The awakening time was short.Nlbuphine has better anesthetic effect and safety for artficial abortion.
