ObjectiveIn this study, functional magnetic resonance(f MRI)was used as the main detection method, mainly observe the changes in the extent of brain activity in the patients with PIU when they perform the Go/No-go task, before and after electro-acupuncture intervention and psychological intervention, after immediate acupuncture at Taichong Point, and combined with the internet addiction self-rating scale and Go/No-go task results,in order to gain a better understanding of the effect of electro-acupuncture intervention, especially immediate acupuncture at Taichong on PIU response and related brain function, hopefully that this research could provide reference for the application of electroacupuncture in PIU treatment.MethodsWe divided 32 subjects, who met the PIU inclusion criteria, randomly into 2groups,with 16 subjects in each group.Among them, two subjects couldn’t continue the trial for personal reasons, and one was excluded for intracranial cyst,so totally had accomplished 29 subjects,of which 15 in electro-acupuncture rehabilitation group and 14 in psychology rehabilitation group.Treatment of two courses.Through f MRI observation patients changes in the degree of brain activity when they carried out Go/No-go task, before and after treatment, immediately acupuncture Taichong points, and observe the internet addiction self-rating scale and Go/No-go task results.Another 16 cases of normal control group were established, and the differences of different groups were observed.Results1.The score of YIAT shows that two kinds of intervention ways such as electro-acupuncture and psychological therapy can significantly reduce the score.2.There was no significant difference(P> 0.05)between the ACC of Go/No-go task before and after the intervention of electro-acupuncture and the intervention of psychological when immediately acupuncture after Taichong points;and the RT ofGo/No-go task were accelerated both of the groups, the psychological rehabilitation group was significantly faster after treatment(P <0.05).3.The active level of frontal lobe(gyrus frontalis superior and gyrus frontalis medius),edge of the leaf, cingulate cortex, parietal lobe, wedge anterior leaf, left fusiform gyrus, temporal lobe and cerebellum were decreased, and right middle-occipital gyrus,middle-occipital gyrus, occipital lobe and bilateral fissure around the cortex area were increased after electro-acupuncture rehabilitation intervention. The active level of the frontal lobe(gyrus frontalis superior and gyrus frontalis medius),edge of the leaf, cingulate cortex, parietal lobe, temporal lobe and occipital lobe were increased, and cerebellum area active level were decreased. The results suggest that the two mechanisms of rehabilitation are different.Conclusion1.The score of YIAT showed that electro-acupuncture and psychological intervention had effect on PIU patients.2.Computer games may speed up the user’s ability to perform tasks.3.The main area of PIU patients after rehabilitation intervention is frontal lobe(gyrus frontalis superior and gyrus frontalis medius),edge of the leaf, cingulate cortex, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe and cerebellum, suggesting that PIU patients may have a temporal parietal junction-striatum functional connection abnormalities.4.Electro-acupuncture and psychological intervention for PIU have therapeutic effect,electro-acupuncture treatment may be through the negative activation of the frontal lobe(the amount of back on the amount of back),edge leaves, cingulate gyrus, parietal lobe, anterior wedge, back, temporal lobe and other regions,to improve the temporal area of the joint-striatum function of the connection to achieve, and the two treatment methods have a certain inhibitory effect on the cerebellum.
