Objective : To investigate the clinical efficacy of different using schemes of intravenous immunoglobulin in treating children with Guillain-Barré syndrome(GBS).Methods:we collected the clinical data of 136 GBS children admitted by children’s hospital of Chongqing medical university between January2010 and April 2017,and divided them into two groups according to the schemes of intravenous immunoglobulin(The total dose of intravenous immunoglobulin in the two groups was 2 g/kg;group 1 received intravenous drip for 1 ~ 2 days and group 2 received intravenous drip for 3~ 5 days,The two groups were compared in curative effect after 5 days of treatment,at discharge, long term and relapse. Results:The two groups differed significantly in clinical effect at discharge(P = 0.02),the significantly effective rate in 1 ~ 2 day group and3 ~ 5 d group were 62.6% and 86.2%;respectively,There was no significant difference inclinical effect after 5 days of treatment, long curative effect,or the relapse between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The Short-termcurative effect of total dose of 2 g/kg IVIG divided into 3 ~ 5 day intravenous drip in treating GBS in children was better than of 1 ~ 2 day intravenous drip. The long curative effect and the recurrence in children with GBS are no statistical difference, but this article is limited by the high rate of lossing to follow-up,and the unknown of the specific rehabilitation therapy after discharge.
