Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of applying Constic self-adhering flowable resin in repairing pulp chamber perforation,and compared the efficacy with MTA material to explore whether Constic resin was suitable for repairing pulp chamber perforation and provided clinical basis.Methods:Fifty patients(50 teeth)were selected from the outpatient department of stomatology who were required to repair the perforation of pulp chamber.The sex,age,perforation cause,perforation diameter and perforation site of each patient were recorded.According to the order of patients,50 patients were randomly divided into two groups:25 patients in the Constic group(experimental group)were treated with Constic self-adhesive flow resin to repair perforation of pulp chamber.25 patients in MTA group(control group)were repaired with MTA material.The time taken by each group to repair perforation was recorded.After treatment,the patients were followed up in January,March,June and December.the clinical efficacy of 12 months after treatment was observed and recorded(Curative effect evaluation record:cure,effective,failure).There was no difference in the effective rate and cure rate between the two groups.Results:1.The total effective rates of Constic group and MTA group were 84.0%and 88.0%,respectively.There was no significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=0.385,P=0.535,P>0.05).The cure rates of Constic group and MTA group were 24.0%and 68.0%respectively.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(χ~2=6.474,P=0.011,P<0.05).2.Compared with MTA group,the effective rate of Constic group was related to perforation diameter and perforation site:When the perforation diameter≤2mm,the effective rate of Constic group and MTA group was no significant difference(P>0.05).When perforation diameter>2mm&≤5mm,the difference between Constic group and MTA group was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was significant difference between Constic group and MTA group(P<0.05).3.Two groups of repair perforation time is:Constic group(47.94±8.06)min,MTA group(55.53±7.84)min,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The results of this study show that the efficacy of constc self-adhesive flow resin in repairing perforation of pulp chamber was similar to MTA in repairing perforation of pulp chamber.Constic resin had better operability and time-saving operation than MTA,and was suitable for popularization in oral treatment.However,the indications of small area(perforation diameter<2mm)should been strictly grasped when Constic resin is applied to repair pulp chamber perforation.The long-term efficacy of Constic self-adhesive flow resin in repairing pulp chamber perforation remains to be further observed and studied.
