| Objective: To study the changes of IL-4,IL-6,IL-10 and TNF-a level in patients with gastric cancer before and after operation, and the effects of ω-3polyunsaturated fatty acids on its levels after operation, and the clinical value of ω-3 poly unsaturated fatty acids. Methods: Eighty-four patients with gastric cancer were enrolled in the study. The patients were admitted to the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University from October 2017 to February 2018.All patients were randomly divided into control group(n = 42)and test group(n = 42).PG-SGA was used to evaluate the nutritional status of admission patients.Patients in control group were given total parenteral nutrition therapy on the first four days and supplemental parenteral nutrition therapy on the next three days, the patients in test group were offered ω-3 fish oil emulsion injection with a dose of 100ml/ d additionally. The levels of IL-4,IL-6,IL-10 and TNF-a were measured before operation,on the first day after operation and on the seventh day after operation with ELISA.Results:1.There was no significant difference in IL-4 levels between the two groups before operation(P>0.05).The level of IL-4 on the first postoperative day was higher than that before operation in the control group. The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),The level of IL-4 on the first postoperative day was higher than that before operation in the test group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);On the first day after operation, there was no significant difference in the level of IL-4 between the two groups(P>0.05).The level of IL-4 in the test group was higher than thatin the control group on the seventh day after operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.There was no significant difference in IL-6 levels between the two groups before operation(P>0.05).The levels of IL-6 in both groups increased on the first day after the operation than that before operation. There was no significant difference in IL-6 level between the two groups on the first day after operation(P>0.05).The IL-6 level in the test group was lower than that in the control group on the seventh day after operation, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05)3.There was no significant difference in the level of IL-10 between the two groups before operation(P>0.05).The levels of IL-10 in both groups increased on the first day after the operation than that before operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in IL-10 level between the two groups on the first day after operatiojn(P>0.05).The IL-10 level in the test group was higher than that in the control group on the seventh day after operation(P<0.05).4.There was no significant difference in the level of TNF-a between the two groups before operation(P>0.05).The levels of TNF-a in both groups increased on the first day after the operation than that before operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the level of TNF-a between the two groups on the first day(P>0.05).The level of TNF-a was lower in the test group than that in the control group on the seventh day after operation(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The levels of IL-4,IL-6,IL-10 and TNF-a increased after operation in patients with gastric cancer.(2)The application of ω-3polyunsaturated fatty acids after operation could increase the levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines IL-4,IL-10 and could reduce the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6,TNF-a in the serum. It could reduce postoperative inflammatory reaction of patients with gastric cancer, and could promote the recovery of the patient, and it had clinical value. |
