Objective:This research by compared the incidence of fever,pain,nausea,vomiting,the TCM syndrome and hepatic function after the interventional surgery to explore its therapeutic effects on the intervention syndrome of primary hepatic carcinoma,the effects on TCM syndrome and hepatic function.Methods:Total of 59 subjects with primary hepatic carcinoma who have been treated by interventional therapy and with syndrome type of Shaoyang were randomly divided into the treatment group(n=29)and the control group(n=30).For the control group,patients were treated with conventional western medicine therapies alone,while for the treatment group,modified Chaihu Guizhi Tang combined with the conventional western medicine therapies was applied from the 1st to the 7th days after the procedure.Since the 1st to the 7th days,Recording the occurrence of symptoms which include the following aspects:fever,pain,nausea and vomiting.Tested the liver function on the 2th day before the surgery and the 7th day after the operation.Evaluated the TCM symptom score adopting the assessment table on both the 1st and the 7th day after the TACE.Adopting the software of SPSS19.0 for data processing,based on the statistical results to explore the therapeutic effects of Chaihu Guizhi Tang on the intervention syndrome of primary hepatic carcinoma.Results:(1)There is no statistical significance in age,sex,clinical stage and KPS score between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).(2)The degree of fever in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group on d4-d7 days postoperatively.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)From the 3th to the 7th days after the operation,the number of patients with pain levels in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)The number of patients in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group in the level of nausea and vomiting on the 3th-6th days postoperatively,and the difference was statistically significant((49)(27)0.05).(5)In duration of symptoms,treatment group was significantly lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(6)The TCM syndrome scores of both groups were significantly lower than the 1th day postoperatively,and the treatment group had a greater decrease,with a significant difference compared with the control group(P<0.05).(7)On the 7th day after surgery,the liver function indexes of the two groups were significantly higher.The control group showed a higher increase than the treatment group.Compared with the control group,there was a statistically significant difference in ALT and AST levels(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Chaihu Guizhi Tang can effectively mitigate the degree and duration of fever,pain,nausea and vomiting.It can ameliorate the TCM symptom score and liver function.
