Objective:To understand the status of professional identity of nursing students in Hunan Province;To analyze the influencing factors of occupational recognition before and after 6 months of internship in nursing students.Methods:By adopting stratified random cluster sampling method is adopted,among medical colleges that open up nursing major in Hunan Province,first-type bachelor,second-type bachelor,third-type bachelor,junior college,technical secondary school are layered firstly,1 school was randomly selected among different levels of colleges,totally 5,2 classes that enter clinical internship in 2016 were selected in every time of random cluster sampling,and total 582 nurses were chosen as the research objects.General data questionnaire and nurse professional identity scale were adopted to investigate the current situation of nurse professional identity and influential factors before internship,or 6 months after internship.SPSS 20.0 software was used for data analysis.The main statistical methods include descriptive statistical analysis,t-test,variance analysis,Kruskal-Willis H test,multiple linear step-wise regression and so on.Results:(1)The scores of occupational cognition before the internship were(59.42±10.34)points,and occupational self-concept,retention and leave risk,social comparison and self-reflection,autonomy of career choice and social persuasion were(21.03±4.65)points,(13.19±2.97)points,(11.11±1.91)points,(6.61±1.30)points and(7.41 ±1.64)points respectively;after the internship,the total score of occupational recognition was(57.30±11.81)points,and those five aspects were(20.39±5.05)points,(12.68±3.32)points,(10.78±2.18)points,(6.38±1.41)points,and(7.07±1.87)points respectively.And the difference in cognition before and after internship has statistical significance.(P<0.01).(2)Univariate analysis showed that the age,education,mothers'education level,the reasons for the nursing profession,the volunteer choice,the class cadre,the school achievement,the teacher's professional attitude,occupational risk,nurses' salary income,nurse social status could affect the career cognition of internship nurses,and the difference has a statistical significance(P<0.05).Multivariate linear stepwise regression analysis showed that the social status of nurses,teachers'academic attitudes,academic qualifications,occupational risk,leader experience,admission to university were including an the regression,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)(F=20.384,P=0.000,R=0.493,R Square=0.243).(3)Univariate analysis showed that the level of education and internship hospital,teacher's professional attitude,occupational risk,nurses' social status,nurses respected degree,internship hospital satisfaction,hospital nursing staff professional attitude,hospital work atmosphere,engaged in nursing work have an impact on occupational recognition on nursing students and its difference has statistical significance(P<0.05).Multivariate linear stepwise regression analysis showed that the belief in nursing work,the social status of nurses,the satisfaction of internship hospitals,the teachers professional attitudes,occupational risk,nurses' degree of respect and internship seven-independent variables were entered a stepwise regression equation,and the fitted multivariate linear regression equation was statistically significant(F=28.885,P=0.000,R=0,518,R Square=0.268).Conclusions:(1)The occupational identity of nurses in Hunan Province is all at the medium level before intern and after interning for 6 months.(2)The occupational identity level of nurses before interning is higher than that after interning for 6 months,and the occupational identity education of nurses in the interning period remains to be strengthened.(3)The main influential factors of the occupational identity of nurses before the intern include:nurse's social status,teacher's attitude toward major,education,study score,the respected degree of nurses,occupational risk,cadre experiences,entrance admission choice.The main influential factors of nurse's occupational identity after interning for 6 months include:the confidence of engaging in nursing work,nurse's social status,satisfaction situation in interning hospital,teacher's attitude toward major,occupational risk,the respected degree of nurses,interning hospital level.
