Objective1.To investigatethemorbidity and main symptoms of the Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome among Guangzhou adolescents.2.To study the X-ray characteristics and the risk factors of the Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome, which in order to provide evidencesfor the teenagers education of cervical health.Methods1.Design the questionnaire about the neck and shoulder conditions of adolescents through consulting the literature and experts, the questionnaire is divided into three parts, the first part is the general conditionincluding gender, age, height and shortsightedness that consider to be the risk factorsforAdolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome. The second part is the cervical health knowledge, including the correct knowledge about cervical spondylosis、Aeenagers Neck-shoulder Syndromeand whether happen to experience the symptoms or need for nosocomial help. The last part is the symptomsevaluation scale about Aeenagers Neck-shoulder Syndrome.2.In September 2016,in the form of random andstratified sampling,we choose two class in every grade except for the third-year of the junior school and the third-year of the senior high school, distribute the questionnaire to these eight classes, and take back 426 questionnaires where 413 questionnaires are qualified.Among the qualifiedquestionnaires, male 201,female 212,age from 12 to 18 years old,the average age is 15.4 years. In addition,we recruitvolunterrs with and without Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome in two groups, the volunteer’s number of each group are 20,every one of these two groug take the cervical X-ray film in standard anteroposteriorand lateral position.3.Diagnostic criteria:the adolescents whose age from 12 to 18 years old, sufferingcervical spondylosis with an severe symptom or more than four slight symptoms, effecting the efficiency of study and the quality of life, but no obvious cervical radiographic changes can be found, the symptom can disappear after enough rest and a change in lifestyle or conservative treatment and without any sequela can diagnose as the Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome.4.The two groups volunteers with or without Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome take the cervical X-ray film in standard anteroposterior and lateral position and measure the physiological cervical curve.5.Establish the Excel database, enter all validdata into the database, import the data into SPSS 19.0 for statisticalanalysis.Use General statistical description, percentage to calculation and chi-square test to describe enumeration data, use t test and logisitcregression test to describe measurement data, use single sample t test and Multi-factor binary regression analysis to identify the correlation among the risk factors,Pvalue less than 0.05 means statisticalsignificance,Pvalue less than 0.01 means Significantstatisticalsignificance.Results1.Among the 413 adolescents surveyed,269 of the adolescents are diagnosed as Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome, the morbidity is 65.19%(269/413),64.68%(130/201)of males and females 65.67%(139/212).The morbidity of the first grade of junior school is 45.88%,and 62.77%for the second grade of junior school,76.72%for the first grade of senior high school and 69.49%for the second grade of senior high school. The reslut of the chi-square test shows that the morbidity in the first grade of junior school, the second grade of junior school and the first grade of senior high school have statistically difference(P<0.05),which means the morbidity of the Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome increases along with the grade, but the morbidity with different gender shows no statistically difference(P>0.05).2.Among the 413 adolescents, regarding the symptoms described as serious and severe, the incidence of neck-shoulder discomfort is 8.84%,neck often snaps is 8.29%,neck shoulder fatigue is5.52%,headache and dizziness is5.52%,neck shoulder severe pain is 3.87%.For degree described as mild symptoms,51.38%incidence of neck shoulder prone to fatigue, mild neck shoulder pain is 50.28%,the neck shoulder mild discomfort and occasional mild headache and dizziness for 46.41%and 43.09%.3.Among the 40 studengts accepted cervical X-ray in standard anteroposterior and lateral position are divided into two groups, with or without Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome, each group owns 20 students. In the neck pain group, the cervical physiological curveof 9 cases becomg straight andbecome arch in 4 cases,in all 65%of this group students exist abnormal cervical physiological curve. In the normal group, students’ cervical physiological curve become straight in 3 cases, become arch in 1 case,a total of 4 cases(20%).The number of abnormal cervical physiology curve in neck-pain group compare to the non-neck pain group has significantstatisticalsignificance(P<0.01),the distance of the cervical physiology curve in the neck pain group has significant statistical significance comparing to the non neck pain group(P<0.01).4.By single sample t testand multi-factor binary regression analysisshow that the average daily reading time, average weekly exercise time, whenlearning can keep a great posture, average daily time using electronic products, the heavy bag for school, often stay in one posture when studying, often take a nap lying in the desk, bowed their heads for a long time study, greedy cool or blow air conditioning are risk factors for the pathogenesis of the Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome.Conclusion1.The prevalence of modern Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome is up to 65.19%,the incidence deserve greater attention, its symptoms mainly in the type of neck, sympathetic and vertebral artery of cervical spondylosis related symptoms, imaging findings is given priority to with cervical physiological curvature straighten or the bow,no obvious physical damage.2.The average daily reading time, average weekly exercise time, when learning can keep a great posture, average daily time using electronic products, the heavy bag for school, often stay in one posture when studying, often take a nap lying in the desk, bowed their heads for a long time study, greedy cool or blow air conditioning are risk factors for the pathogenesis of the Adolescents Neck-shoulder Syndrome.and there is statistical significance.
