Objective:In this study, tacrolimus ointment and triamcinolone acetonide oral ointment were used to treat chronic discoid lupus erythematosus lesions of the lips,by observing changes in the area of erosion, the pain index, and adversing reactions, and the relapse rate of erosion lesions three months after discontinuation of the drug.To compare the short-term clinical efficacy of two drugs for local treatment of erosion lesions, and provide further clinical guidance for local treatment of patients with chronic discoid lupus erythematosus. Methods:Sixty patients with chronic discoid lupus erythematosus who met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of the study were collected from the department of stomatology in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University.Randomized controlled trials were designed to randomly divide sixty patients with chronic discoid lupus erythematosus into Group A and B,and both groups were treated with compound chlorhexidine gargle with local wet compress.Group A were given with 0.1% tacrolimus ointment locally and group B were given with 0.1% triamcinolone acetonide oral ointment. The ointment was applied to the erosive lesions of the lips twice a day for four weeks. All patients were given oral peony glycoside capsules and vitamin B tablets. The same dentist recorded the patient’s local erosion, pain, and to adverse reactions at the time of initial diagnosis.Do the same things at one week, two weeks, four weeks after treatment.Three months after discontinuation of the drug, the recurrence of local erosion lesions would be recorded.According to the clinical symptoms and signs, the data were recorded and collated to analyze and evaluate the short-term clinical efficacy of the two ointments for the treatment of erosive lesions in patients with chronic discoid lupus erythematosus. Results:Observing the effect of medication treatment and the relapses of discontinuation after three months in Sixty patients. The specific results are as follows:1.Before and after treatment, the intra-group comparison of the changes in the size of the erosion and the degree of the pain with all patients was statistically significant(P<0.001).2.Before the using of drugs in all patients to assess the pain index, the result was similar and not statistically significant(P>0.05).All patients were followed up for one week, two weeks and four weeks after drug treatment. There was no statistical difference in the pain index between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Calculate and compare the reduction rate of erosion area in one week after treatment in group A and B.It was found that the effect of group B was significant and the difference was statistically significant. After two weeks of treatment, the size of erosion was reduced in all patients and there was not difference in two groups. In the end of the treatment,0.1% tacrolimus ointment in group A could reduce erosion area better, and the results were statistically different.4.The total effective rate in group A was 96.7%,and the result in group B was93.3%.It was found that the drugs could be cured the erosion lesions, and the number of cases which included the markedly effective, effective, and ineffective were statistically significant in two groups. The two drugs had clinical efficacy.5.During the treatment period, adversng reactions occurred in both groups A and B.After statistical analysis, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).6.Following-up visits were observed in the cured and the markedly effective patients after three months with discontinuation. The recurrence rate was respectively compared with all patients, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Topical 0.1% tacrolimus ointment or 0.1% triamcinolone acetonide oral ointment combined with oral total glycosides paeony capsules and multivitamin B tablets for the treatment of chronic discoid lupus erythematosus erosion lesions are effective, which can promote the healing of erosion wounds, reduce pain in patients and improve the quality of life of patients.2.Although the efficacy of topical 0.1% triamcinolone acetonide oral ointment is better within one week than the other drug, the effect of 0.1% tacrolimus ointment is more stable of the chronic discoid lupus erythematosus patients with erosion lesions, better than 0.1% Triamcinolone oral ointment. Therefore,it is worthy of clinical using. |
