The Clinical Research Of Hua Zhuo Sheng Fa Yin In Treating Androgenetic Alopecia(Yin Deficiency And Dampness-heat Syndrome)and The Observation With Dermoscopy

Objective:To explore the clinical effectiveness of combined traditional Chinese medicine on Androgenetic Alopecia(yin deficiency and dampness-heat),and analyze the dermoscopic features pre and post treatment.Methods : In total,74 patients of Androgenetic Alopecia(yin deficiency and dampness-heat)who met the inclusion criteria were included.Patients were assigned to treatment group and control group randomly according to random number table.The basic treatment was applied in both groups including plum blossom needles and Sheng Fa tincture.In addition to basic treatment,Hua Zhuo Sheng Fa Yin and Zi Yin Chu Shi Tang were applied in treatment group and control group respectively.We recorded the hair loss,pruritus,greasiness,scales,hair growth and adverse events at week 0,2,4,8,12.The data were analysed by SPSS 22.0.Result:In treatment group,the numbers of patients who were cured,markedly effective,effective,ineffective were 0,9,20 and 6 respectively,and the total effective rate was 82.9%.In control group,the numbers were 0,6,22 and 6 respectively,and the total effective rate was 82.4%.After treatment,there were no significant differences on hair loss,pruritus,scales and hair growth between two groups.The treatment group was better than that in control group in greasiness(p<0.05).In treatment group,there was significant improvement on hair loss,greasiness and scales in each evaluation time(p<0.05).Pruritus was improved since week 4(p<0.05).Hair growth was improved since week 8(p<0.05).In control group,there was significant improvement on hair loss,pruritus,and scales in each evaluation time(p<0.05).Greasiness was improved since week 4(p<0.05).Hair growth was improved since week 12(p<0.05).The main changes on dermoscopy photos pre and post treatment were the increase of telangiectasia syndrome,disappear of yellow dots and the growth of vellus hair.After treatment,the numbers of patients that the increase of elangiectasia syndrome were 6 and 0,and the two groups were significantly different.7 patients in treatment group and 2 patients in control group found disappear of yellow dots,and the two groups were significantly different.6 patients in treatment group and 8patients in control group found the growth of vellus hair,and no siginificant difference was found between groups.Conclusion:Combined Hua Zhuo Sheng Fa Yin and external treatment of TCM can effectively improve the symptom of hair loss,pruritus and scales on patients of Androgenetic Alopecia(yin deficiency and dampness-heat),which has the similar effect with the group of combined Zi Yin Chu Shi Tang and external treatment of TCM after 12 weeks’ treatment.he treatment group was better than that in control group in greasiness.After the treatment of combined Hua Zhuo Sheng Fa Yin and external treatment of TCM,The main changes on dermoscopy photos pre and post treatment were the increase of telangiectasia syndrome,disappear of yellow dots and the growth of vellus hair.
