Objective:To investigate the onset of types and prognosis factors of children complex febrile seizures(CFS).Methods:285 cases of CFS children inpatients from year 2012 to year 2016 were grouped,no history of seizure,to analyze the clinical data of the hospital and 5 years follow-up retrospectively, including:gender, age of onset, living environment, seizure family history, temperature of seizure, serum ions, pathogen, electroencephalogram(EEG),and the analysis of imaging head CT or MRI.The correlation between different factors and the onset of types was analyzed by using theχ~2 test, and the factors influencing the prognosis of CFS were investigated. Results:The first onset age of children with CFS was 6 months to 5 years old,and 64.2percent of patients were under 2 years old.Male patients were slightly more than female(1.9:1).Seizure temperature is less than 39℃or equal to 39℃,accounting for 62%.The main etiology of hospitalized children is acute upper respiratory tract infection, acute gastroenteritis and so on,pathogen including mycoplasma pneumoniae, deputy flu virus, herpes simplex virus, and epstein-barr virus.Depending on the type of seizure,CFS can be divided into generalized seizure group, focal seizure group and status epilepticus type group.Gender, age, family history, seizure temperature, pathogen infection, and EEG,head imaging has no statistical difference on the onset of different types(P>0.05).The abnormal rate of long-range EEG was higher than that of conventional EEG;and the abnormal rate of head MRI scan was higher than that of head CT.According to the dynamic follow-up of the children, the probability of recurrence rate and secondary epilepsy increased year by year as the course of disease progress.Age,family history, seizure temperature and the onset of type had statistical significance for recurrence(P<0.05).Family history, head imaging, and the onset of type had statistical significance for secondary epilepsy(P<0.05).Family history and onset of types play an important role in the prognosis of CFS.Conclusions:Children with CFS were generally younger and had a lower seizure temperature. The factors influencing the recurrence of CFS and secondary epilepsy is more, pay attention to the age when children convulsion, body temperature, family history, head imaging anomalies, and different types of seizure in the clinical work,to avoid long time of seizure to the nerve cell damage caused by the repeated attacks,as well as the developing brain damage, neurological sequelae such as legacy cognitive dysfunction. |
