Objectives To explore the effect of intervention model based on health ecology theory on the physical and mental health of the empty nested disability elderly, and to provide the basis for improving the health status of the elderly. Methods A total of two communities were randomly selected from the 10 community health service centers affiliated to Tangshan workers' hospital and hongci hospital. The method of drawing lots was divided into the experimental group and the control group.Experimental group and control group according to include and exclude in the elderly in the community standard screening,in every community screening out all conform to the standard set of old people and random in the extraction of 50 people,in the process of intervention control fall off one, finally the experimental group 50 people, control group at 49.The control group kept the original community's lifestyle unchanged, and still enjoy the original community service.Based on the control group, the experimental group using the model based on the theory of ecology health intervention from three aspects: family, community, society to intervene, every level of intervention content is divided into daily life care support, the support environment security, health care and spiritual consolation supporting four aspects. Before intervention and after 3 and 6 months of intervention using the ADL scale, the SF-36 scale, the UCLA scale, the MFROP-Com scale, the PSS-Fa scale, the SSRS scale to measure the empty-nest seniors. Results 1 Compared two groups of the elderly daily life ability scores, before the intervention of two groups of the elderly physical self-maintenance dimension, instrumental activities of daily living dimension, activities of daily living score comparison difference has no statistical significance(P>0.05).After three months of intervention,in addition to the instrumental activities of daily living dimension, the elderly in the experimental group had better scores than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After six months of intervention, the experimental group the elderly body in physical self-maintenance dimension, instrumental activities of daily living dimension, activities of daily living score than the control group there were significant increased, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2 Compared two groups of the elderly life quality scores, before the intervention of two groups of the elderly each dimension of SF-36 and the total score comparison difference has no statistical(P>0.05).After three months of intervention, the experimental group the elderly in the physiological function dimension, physiological role dimension, emotional functiondimension, mental health dimension, the quality of life total score than the control group had significant increase, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After six months of intervention, the elderly in the experimental group had a significant improvement in the other seven dimensions and total scores than the control group except for physical pain dimension, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3 Compared two groups of the elderly loneliness scores, before the intervention of two groups of the elderly loneliness comparison difference has no statistical(P>0.05).After intervention, there was a significant improvement in the loneliness of the elderly in the experimental group compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4 Compared two groups of the elderly fall risk scores, before and after three months of intervention of two groups of the elderly fall risk comparison difference has no statistical significance(P>0.05),after six months of intervention, the experimental group the elderly fall risk was the control group had significant improvement, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5 Compared two groups of the elderly family support scores, before the intervention of two groups of the elderly family support comparison difference has no statistical significance(P>0.05),and after the intervention, the experimental group the elderly family support than the control group compared with significant increase, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6 Compared two groups of the elderly social support scores, before the intervention of two groups of the elderly social support comparison difference has no statistical significance(P>0.05),and after the intervention, the experimental group the elderly social support than the control group compared with significant increase, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Based on the theory of ecology health intervention model can effectively improve the empty nested disability elderly daily life ability, improve the quality of life, reduce the risk of falls and loneliness, also can improve the level of the family and social support, can be used as an effective intervention method to improve the empty nest old man's physical and mental health.
