Secondary Prevention Of Ischemic Stroke Patients With Xuelong Tongmai Pill Clinical Intervention Research

Objective: Observe the effects of Saussurein Tongmai in interventional treatment of ischemic stroke secondary prevention on clinical neurological deficit score,improved Rankin score,TCM syndrome score,recurrent rate of ischemic stroke,and mortality.Method: Sixty-two patients with ischemic stroke who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,a control group of 31 patients,and a treatment group of 31 patients.The treatment group was given oral Saussurea Tongmai Pills,at the same time,basic treatment for Western medicine,and western medicine basic treatment for the control group.The above treatment was treated for a total of 6 months.After 6 months of treatment,clinical neurological deficit scores before and after treatment,modified Rankin scores,TCM syndrome scores,recurrence rate,and mortality were analyzed statistically.Results: There was no significant difference in baseline between the two groups(P> 0.05).There were significant differences between the two groups of patients before and after treatment in neurological deficit scores(NHISS scores)and TCM symptom scores within and between the groups(P < 0.00);the difference in the Rankin scores between the two groups before and after treatment was extremely significant.Significant(P <0.00),there was a significant difference between the two groups(P <0.05).The total effective rate of the improvement of TCM symptoms after treatment was significantly different(P <0.01);the recurrence rate after treatment in both groups.There was no significant difference between mortality and mortality(P> 0.05).Conclusion: The experimental data show that Xuelian Tongmai Pills plus basic Western medicine treatment can significantly improve the patient’s clinical symptoms,which can improve the quality of life of patients to a certain extent.
