A Study Of KABP Investigation And Health Education Intervention About Tuberculosis Of Population In The Place Of Prison

ObjectiveThis study through the prison population situation of TB knowledge,attitude and behavior.Implementation of a comprehensive TB health education intervention activities,understanding of health education intervention study population KABP change,discussed its influence factor,evaluate its effect.To explore the prison TB health education to provide basic conditions.MethodsAdopt the self-designed questionnaire,first of all,400 people in a prison population were selected as the subjects.TB "KABP" level status investigation,analyzing the characteristic of the crowd and TB knowledge awareness and "KABP" level and its influencing factors.Selection based on the baseline survey,choose structure features and custody of the baseline survey similar population 150 as intervention group.lt using for a week education,to distributing pamphlets,short view education,TB health knowledge lecture.After a week completed KABP level survey of TB knowledge level survey.Comparison of the tuberculosis(TB)before and after the intervention level of "KABP" to analyze its influencing factors.This study used descriptive analysis,chi-square test,Logistic regression and multiple linear regression analysis to evaluate statistical method.ResultsIn this study were men."KABP prison custody crowd of TB" baseline survey:custody crowd tuberculosis overall witting rate was 41.72%,the core information awareness is 38.85%;TB knowledge about relevant aspects respectively:57.00%correct awareness of infectious diseases,symptoms right awareness is 34.25%29.00%,cure effect right awareness,examination and treatment of some free policy properly witting rate was 40.25%,the prevention and control knowledge awareness 51.00%;Attitude hold rates,TB "very serious" is 36.00%tuberculosis,willing to accept the education is around 52.25%,says can care about TB for 35.50%35.50%,the prison TB treatment can trust;Behavior hold rates,cough and expectoration will see a doctor for more than 2 weeks was 60.75%,33.75%preferred TB prevention and control institutions professional.Baseline survey 52.25%of the population is willing to access to relevant information,and hope to get a variety of forms of access to information.Baseline survey on five core impact meaningful information about the characteristics of the age,occupation,cultural degree,marital status and other factors of the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),impact on the five core information about meaningful characteristic factors,Age 30 to 39 age group had the highest percentage,the highest cultural degree of the junior middle school culture,the highest percentage of marriage married group,the highest percentage of unemployed groups,the highest percentage of the province.Baseline survey,there was no statistically significant difference of multi-factor analysis to crowd characteristics,about the study population tuberculosis core information of knowing and unknowing.Before and after the intervention:TB information overall awareness were 43.55%and 75.00%respectively,the core information witting rate was 39.87%and 62.81%,after the intervention TB knowledge awareness and core information awareness is improved obviously,compared with before;Infectious disease respectively:tuberculosis related knowledge about correct awareness of 52.67%and 80.00%,symptoms right witting rate was 26.67%and 26.67%,cure effect were 29.33%and 50.00%correct awareness,examination and treatment of some free policy right witting rate was 46.00%and 46.00%,prevention and treatment knowledge correct awareness of 44.00%and 66.67%;Attitude hold rates,"very serious"tuberculosis was 52.67%and 49.33%,willing to accept the education tuberculosis was 57.33%and 77.33%,said can care about TB people around 54.00%and 63.33%,the prison TB treatment can trust 37.33%and 51.33%;Behavior hold rates,cough and expectoration will see a doctor for more than 2 weeks for 61.33%and 82.67%,the preferred TB prevention and control institutions professional 31.33%,63.33%.Statistics show that before and after the intervention,TB awareness,attitude and behavior related information holding rate is increased,in addition to "TB people around care about information’ and "TB severity the attitude toward",the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).Multi-factor analysis showed that the intervention was statistically significant about marital status,the household registration,the age and cultural aspects core information awareness effect of the TB,the influence intervention effect of the divorced people,another province crowd,the elder people,high school and above group was the important affecting factors and the focus of the crowd.Conclusion:The TB knowledge awareness of prison Population is still at the lower levels,the TB prevention and control of consciousnes’s,the behavior lacking.The prison hospital trust is low for the treatment of tuberculosis.After health education intervention,prison custody in crowd tuberculosis related knowledge level,attitude and behavior are improved.The implementation of the health education about tuberculosis control has a certain practical significance in prison.
