Clinical Analysis Of Patients With Heart Failure Over 75 Years Old

BackgroundAt present,cardiovascular disease is the first cause of death among Chinese residents,which is higher than cancer and other diseases.Heart failure is the serious and terminal stage of all kinds of cardiovascular diseases,which has become an important public health problem in the cardiovascular field of our country.As the aging of the population in our country further intensifies,and the survival rate of patients with acute cardiovascular diseases such as acute myocardial infarction increases,Therefore,further analysis of the clinical characteristics of elderly patients with heart failure is helpful to rationalize the prevention and treatment of elderly patients with heart failure.ObjectiveBy comparing the general conditions and clinical indexes of heart failure patients over 75 years old and under 75 years old,the clinical characteristics of patients with heart failure over 75 years old were analyzed to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of elderly patients with heart failure.MethodsSelecting 322 cases middle-old aged heart failure patients continuously who were hospitalized from October of 2016 to March of 2017 in Xinxiang Central Hospital.According to the world health organization(WHO)age group methods,133 elderly and long-lived elderly HF patients aged over 75 years as elderly group,189 cases of young,middle-aged and presenium aged HF patients under 75 years of age as non-elderly group,to comparison and analysis the clinical features of the two groups from the sex,the cause of disease,the accompanied,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP),characteristics of blood lipid,length of stay and in-hospital outcome events several aspects.ResultsThere was no significant difference in sex,admission blood pressure,accompanying signs and length of hospitalization between the two groups(P > 0.05).Compared with those in non aged group under 75 years of age,the prevalence of coronary heart disease and hypertension is higher in patients over 75 years of age with heart failure;and the grade III to IV of NYHA was higher than non-elderly patients,and the level of NT-pro BNP,total cholesterol(TC)and triglycerin trilaurate(TG)were higher than those in non-elderly group.The low density lipoprotein density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)level was lower,the incidence of in-hospital events was higher,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).ConclusionComparison of patients with heart failure under 75 years of age,the main cause of the onset of heart failure in 75 years of age is coronary heart disease,followed by hypertension.Heart function in patients with heart failure over 75 years of age is worse,the blood lipid level is lower,and the hospital outcome is more likely to occur...
