Objective:To investigate the status of automatic thoughts and dysfunctional attitude and depression, childhood trauma and parenting style in adolescent depression patients. To explore the influence factors of automatic thoughts and dysfunctional attitude of adolescent depression patients and their relationship with childhood trauma and parenting style. It is helpful to provide theoretical basis for psychological nursing, health education and intervention of adolescent depression patients. Methods:A convenience sample of 151 adolescent depression patients were investigated in the outpatient department and wards in a tertiary care teaching mental health specialist hospital of Shan Dong. The general information questionnaire, the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),the Childhood trauma questionnaire-28 short Form(CTQ),Short-Egna Minnen bamdoms uppfostran(S-EMBU),the Dysfunctional Attitudes Scales(DAS),the Automatic Thoughts Questionnaire(ATQ)were used to investigate the patients.SPSS21.0 was used to input and organize and analyze the data.Statistical methods include descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t test, single factor analysis, pearson correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis.Results:1.General demographic data of adolescents depression patients. In this study,151 adolescent patients with depression were selected.Among them,101 patients aged 16 to 18 years old(66.88%);84 cases of female patients(55.62%);98 cases of patients in high school and above(64.90%);78 cases of father’s degree in junior high school and below(51.65%);81 cases of mother’s degree in junior high school and below(53.64%);Nuclear family 115 cases(76.16%);85 cases of urban residents(56.29%).2.The differences between the automatic thoughts and dysfunctional attitude of adolescent depression patients were compared with that of demographic data, depression degree and childhood trauma. The automatic thoughts of adolescent depression patients were statistically significant in age, education, degree of depression and childhood trauma(P<0.05).There was statistical significance in age, educational, mother’s degree of culture, degree of depression, and whether there was a childhood trauma in adolescent depression(P<0.05).3.The correlation of automatic thoughts, dysfunctional attitude and childhood trauma and parenting style of adolescent depression patients.Adolescent depression automatic thoughts and dysfunctional attitude were positively associated with the emotional neglect, emotional abuse, physical neglect, physical abuse, parents’ overprotection, parents refused(r = 0.161-0.161,P<0.161);and negatively associated with the parents’ emotional warmth(r =-0.159--0.416,P<0.05).4.Multivariate stepwise regression analysis of the automatic thoughts and dysfunctional attitude of adolescents depression patients.Multiple stepwise regression analysis of automatic thoughts present:the variables that enter the regression equation are emotional abuse, emotional neglect, and father overprotection.Three variables combined to explain the variation of 42.6%of automatic thoughts(R2 = 0.426,F = 38.087,P<0.01).Multiple stepwise regression analysis of dysfunctional attitude present:the variables that enter the regression equation are mother overprotection, emotional abuse and education.Three variables combined to explain the variation of 42.6%of dysfunctional attitude(R2 =0.340,F= 26.710,P<0.01).Conclusion:1.Adolescent with medium and heavy depression patients scored higher on automatic thoughts and dysfunctional attitudes than those with mild depression patients.2.Adolescent depression patients with childhood trauma had higher scores on automatic thoughts and dysfunctional attitude than those with no childhood trauma.3.There is a certain correlation between the automatic thoughts and dysfunctional attitude of adolescent depression patients and emotional abuse, emotional neglect, physical abuse, physical neglect and parenting style in childhood trauma.4.Emotional abuse, emotional neglect in childhood trauma and father overprotection can significantly predict adolescent depression patients’ automatic thoughts;Adolescent depression patients education, emotional abuse in childhood trauma and mother overprotection in parenting style can significantly predict their dysfunctional attitudes.
