Objectives:The purpose of this study is to investigate the physical activity of colorectal cancer survivors during chemotherapy and then explain it based on the theory of planned behavior.Meanwhile, analysis the effects of planning, past physical activity and self-efficacy on colorectal cancer survivors during chemotherapy. Methods:The colorectal cancer survivors were recruited in a third grade hospital of Changchun with convenience sampling method from June 2017 to December 2017.Finally,174 colorectal cancer survivors were included according to the pre-established inclusion criteria.Survey tools include:demographic and medical informatio,Godin Leisure Time Exercise Questionnaire,Planned Behavior Theory Scale version,Exercise Self-efficacy Scale. All the analysis were conducted using Epidata3.1,SPSS21.0 and Amos17.0.Applied statistical methods include descriptive analysis, rank sum test,Spearman correlation analysis,Path analysis.Results:1.The average physical activity index during chemotherapy period was(11.4±11.1).92.5%(161)of the colorectal cancer survivors were insufficient physical activity during chemotherapy, and 32.2%(56)were completely sedentary.2.The effected factors on physical activity among colorectal cancer survivors during chemotherapy were as the following:gender, education level, working status, living location, payment mode of medical expenses, and disease stage etc.(P<0.05).3.Based on the introduction plan, the past movement behavior and the self-efficacy,the adaptive index of the planning behavior theory model was respectively:x~2/df=1.467,GFI=0.977,AGFI=0.926,NFI=0.970,TLI=0.974,CFI=0.990,IFI=0.990,RMSEA=0.052,showed that the model better fit.4.The model's ability to explain physical activity of colorecatal cancer survivors was 54%(R~2=0.54)and 48%(R~2=0.48)to explain the intention.Conclusion:1.Colorectal cancer survivors had low level of physical activity during chemotherapy.2.The factors that influenced the physical activity of colorectal cancer survivors during chemotherapy include gender, education level, working status, living location, payment mode of medical expenses, and disease stage.3.Intentions,plans,and past physical activity can directly influence the physical activity of colorectal cancer survivors during chemotherapy period. The plan serves as an intermediary between intention and behavior. At the same time, the plan can also mediate past physical activity and physical activity during chemotherapy. The past physical activity was the most important factor affecting the physical activity of colorectal cancer survivors during chemotherapy.4.Attitude,subjective norm, perceived behavior control and self-efficacy can directly affect the intention of colorectal cancer survivors during chemotherapy period.Self-efficacy can indirectly affect intention through attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavior control.Self-efficacy was the most important factor affected the intention of colorectal cancer survivors during chemotherapy period.
