At present,the problems such as sand leakage and incomplete splicing often occur in the process of handling and splicing of sports turf,which lead to the defects of safety and stability of the flat bed made of sod.High quality and stable bed conditions can provide better security and excellent performance for the players,at the same time,the audience can enjoy a better football feast.In this study,with pure sand as a control,we added different concentrations of PVAc,HPS,HPMC,WOH,PAM,PVA and coconut silk to the sand for mixing treatment.The effects of polymeric curing agent on properties of turf bed and the growth of sport turfgrass were investigated by three comparative experiments.The results showed that:(1)According to the study of chemical reinforcement of sandy soil,it can be concluded that the two groups of PVAc and PAM have better porosity and saturated hydraulic conductivity compared with the control group,,and the grass planting experiment can be carried out.Compared with the lower concentration,adding 0.7% WOH and 0.8% PVA showed very low saturated hydraulic conductivity.The porosity and saturated hydraulic conductivity of HPS and HPMC ether were the lowest.(2)Based on the study of chemical reinforcement of sand bed and turfgrass growth,it can be concluded that the two groups of WOH treatments and the low concentration of PAM and PVA can be compared in the next experiment.Although PVAc treatment has high porosity and saturated hydraulic conductivity,it has a great inhibitory effect on the turfgrass growth,showing the lowest aboveground and underground biomass of the turfgrass,so it is not suitable for turf bed curing material.Compared with the lower concentration of the treatments with 0.6% PAM and t 0.8% PVA,there are great differences in the turf quality,growth condition,porosity and saturated hydraulic conductivity.Therefore,the next comparative test can be conducted by appropriately adjusting the concentration.(3)It can be found from the comparison experiment indexes of physical reinforcement and chemical reinforcement that,Choosing a relatively low polymeric curing agent can not only reduce the engineering cost,but also have no significant difference in the physical properties of roots compared with that of a high polymeric curing agent.The selection of curing agent should be based on local conditions.If the requirements for the hardness of the turfgrass and the stability of the turfgrass coil are high,0.4% PVA can be selected as the reinforcement material;if the requirements for the growth and biomass of the turfgrass are high,0.2% PAM can be selected.WOH is a kind of polymer curing agent between the reinforcement effect of PVA and PAM,which has less effect on the growth of plants and slightly improves the stability of the flat bed,but its cost is much higher than the other two,and its application to the sports ground still needs to be considered in the comprehensive evaluation.Coconut silk as a physical reinforcement technology,proper ratio with chemical curing materials can reduce the disadvantages of single curing materials,so as to maximize the reinforcement effect of the sports turf.
