Rabbit coccidiosis is one of the most common internal parasitic diseases in rabbits, which is caused by Eimeria or Isospora coccidia parasitized in the epithelial cells of small intestine or bile duct. The disease has wide distribution, fast spread and high death rate.It is susceptible to rabbits of different breeds and ages, especially the young rabbits from weaning to 3 months old are most susceptible to infection, which causes great harm to the rabbit industry and huge economic losses. At present, there are 11 effective species of rabbit coccidia, including E.Stiedai,e.intestinalis,e.falvescens,e.exigua,e.media E.magna,e.perforans,e.vejdovskyi,e.coecoiia,e.piriformis,e.irresida.In order to understand the epidemiology of rabbit coccidiosis in Linyi area,450 fresh faeces(75 faeces per rabbit)collected from 6 rabbit farms in Linyi area were detected by the method of saturated salt water egg sac floating. The results showed that:(1)345 of 450 fresh faeces were found to be coccidial oocysts, with an average detection rate of 76.67%.(2)The OPG value of coccidia oocysts(the number of oocysts per gram of feces)was 9.47× 104 in the largest and 0.15 × 104 in the smallest of the six rabbit farms investigated, which indicated that the infection of coccidia in the rabbit farms in this area was moderate or mild.(3)According to the morphological characteristics of oocysts, internal and external residues,11 species of Eimeria were detected in 6 rabbit farms in Linyi area, and fecal samples were mixed infection, mostly 4-6 species. These results provide a reference for coccidiosis control in rabbit production in this area.In order to compare the preventive effects of three kinds of anticoccidial drugs and drug combinations on rabbit coccidiosis,480 40 day old healthy Rex rabbits were selected for the experiment, with a period of 30 days. Each batch was divided into four groups,60 young rabbits in each group.Chlorophenformin(150 mg / kg),Changshan alkali(100 mg /kg),chloropropylguanidine + Changshan alkali(80 mg / kg + 100 mg / kg),dinitrotomide(125 mg / kg),The clinical symptoms of the experimental rabbits were observed, the number of oocysts per gram of feces was measured, and each dead rabbit was dissected to determine the anticoccidial effect of the drug. The results showed that:(1)coccidiosis was more serious in 5 days(40 days old)and 64 days old after weaning.(2)There was significant difference in average weight gain between group A and other groups(P < 0.05),and the average weight gain was lower than that of other groups;there was no significant difference in average weight gain between group B(chlorophenidine + Changshan base)and group C(Changshan base)(P > 0.05);there was significant difference in average weight gain between group D(dinitrotomide)and other groups(P < 0.05),and the average weight gain was higher than that of other groups.(3)The observation of the effect of drug control showed that dinitrotomide had the best control effect on rabbit coccidiosis in Linyi area, and it could be used as the first choice drug for rabbit coccidiosis control in Linyi area,Changshan alkali could be used as the second choice, and chlorphenidine was not recommended for the time being.
