Classification Of Erebidae In Xinjiang(Lepidoptera: Noctuidea)

The Erebidae belongs to Lepidoptera,Noctuiodea.51 species belongs to 6 subfamilies 12 genera in Erebidae were identified based on morphological characters of adults and genitalia,those collected from Xinjiang.The photos of all adults and genitalia were illustrated,and keys to the species were provided.Included 12 newly recorded species from China: Scoliopteryx aksuana,Autophila vespertalis,Eublemma pallidula,Eublemmaamoena,Eublemma rosea,Drasteria antiqua,Drasteria cailino,Catocala lupina,Catocala toropovi,Catocala artobolevskiji,Euclidia glyphica,Clytie gracilis,and 6 species were reported from Xinjiang firstly:Hypena obesalis,Simplicia rectalis,Lygephila pastinum,Drasteria rada,Drasteria chinensis,Catocala fraxinii fraxinii.This paper provides basic data for Erebidae studies in Xinjiang.The photos were provided can be useful for the candidates who worked in agriculture and forestry pests controlling in Xinjiang.All the specimens examined were deposited in the insects collection of college of Agricultural,Shihezi University.
