Compared with other cruciferous vegetables,at present,the research on genetic breeding of Brassica oleracea var.chinensis Lei.was relatively weak,and the cross breeding work was relatively slow.Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is one of the major diseases in Brassica oleracea var.chinensis Lei..It caused great difficulties in the commercial production and seed priducation.Currently,the research on the resistance to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum has just started,and the development of resistant varieties is even more blank.In this study,27 hybrid combinations prepared from 15 Brassica oleracea var.chinensis Lei.inbred lines with large differences in traits and comprehensive performance were compared for varietal comparison and nutrient composition analysis in order to select reference for developing high-quality.In addition,12 inbred lines were also identified for resistance to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum at the seedling stage.The results are as follows:(1)Comparing the commercial and appearance traits:In the thin stalk type of kale,the combination of 40×53 and 16×40 were the best.Among them.the combination of 40×53,with a erect,straight main mast and a beautiful appearance,while 16×40 had a beautiful overall appearance;In the red stalk type of kale,the combination of 32×34 and 27×34 were the best.Among them,the combination of 32×34 had a slender and erect main stalk and a beautiful overall appearance,while 27×34 had few nodes and a beautiful overall appearance;In the thick stalk type of kale,the combination of 17×48 and 17×25 were the best.Among them,the combination of 17×48 had a thicker main ridge and lush foliage,while17×25 had more branches and lush foliage.(2)Comparing the yield of kale:In the thin stalk type of kale,Combinations of 16×53and 21×32 were all high-yield combinations and its yields of the main stalk reached1966.54kg per 667m~2 and 1482.52kg per 667m~2 respectively;In the red stalk type of kale,Combinations of 33×34 and 31×34 are all high-yield combinations and its yields of the main stalk reached 1764.44kg per 667m~2 and 1193.93kg per 667m~2 respectively;In the thick stalk type of kale,Combinations of 25×48 and 17×48 were all high-yield combinations and its yields of the main stalk reached 2193.10kg per 667m~2and 2105.49kg per 667m~2respectively.(3)Comparing the ripeness of kale:In the thin stalk type of kale,there were 6combinations for medium maturity type and 4 combinations for late maturity type;In the red stalk type of kale,there are 8 combinations for medium maturity type;In the thick stalk type of kale,there are 9 combinations for medium maturity type.(4)Comparing the nutritional content of kale:In the thin stalk type of kale,the highest concentration of soluble solids was 35×40,which was 4.90%;the protein content of 40×53reached the highest(4.871g/100g fresh stalk)in all combinations;the soluble sugar content of combination 40×53 was the highest(2.507g/100g fresh stalk);16×35 was a combination of high Vc content and its Vc content reached the highest(3.769g/100g fresh stalk)in all combinations;In the red stalk type of kale,the soluble solids content of combination 31×34was the highest(5.53%);protein content of 32×34 reached the highest(4.227g/100g fresh stalk)in all combinations;the soluble sugar content of combination 33×34 was the highest(2.089g/100g fresh stalk);27×34 was a combination of high Vc content and its Vc content reached the highest(2.907g/100g fresh stalk)in all combinations;In the thick stalk type of kale,the soluble solids content of combination 17×49 was the highest(5.63%);the protein content of 17×25 reached the highest(4.731g/100g fresh stalk)in all combinations;the cross 24×25 had the highest Vc(3.769g/100g fresh stalk),that of 24×48 also reached3.768g/100g fresh stalk.They were both high Vc content combinations.(5)In the identification of seedling resistance to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in 12 inbred lines,the line No.34 was the resistant line.Line No.33 was susceptible.The line No.16 and No.25 were intermediate-resistant.There were 6 medium-sensitivity inbred lines such as No.21,No.24,No.31,No.32,No.35 and No.53.The inbred line No.40 and No.48 were high susceptible.
