Research On The Influence Of Environmental Changes Of Tourist Destination On The Livelihood

The sustainability of the livelihood in tourist destination is being paid more and more attention to.Taking Yuye Village in Xunliao Bay Resort which lies in Huizhou,Guangdong Province as the research object,the article is based on the framework of sustainable livelihood analysis and the theory of the geographic system of the relationship between humans and land.Use several methods such as combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis to analyze the livelihood capital,strategy and output of Yuye village.Discuss the evolution of the way of livelihood of the people living in tourist destination under the influence of environmental changes such as natural ecological environment,economic system environment and social culture environment,on which the article propose the influence mechanism of environmental changes on the livelihoods of fishermen.The study shows that Yuye Village,Xunliao Bay,which is a former traditional fishing village with fishing as its main feature,has become a famous coastal tourist village with leisure fishing as its feature in just 10 years.There's been a fundamental change in livelihood,with the livelihood capital composite index being the medium level,the natural capital being highest level,and financial capital,human capital being the minimum level.Four environmental change features were concluded in the analysis of the presentation of environmental changes,including bidirectionality,relevance,absoluteness and vulnerability.After a comprehensive analysis of thirteen environmental factors,the study finds that the natural ecological environment is the basis of the formation of livelihoods,that the economic system environment is the key which optimize the livelihoods,and that the social and cultural environment supports the improvement of livelihoods.The study also tries to construct the mechanism of influence of environment changes of tourist destination on livelihood.In the end,the study raises some suggestions on the sustainability of the livelihoods for Yuye Village,including assistance of proper recognition of livelihood capital for fishermen,the evolution from qualitative-oriented to quantitative-oriented management for leisure fishing,the gravity of training and ability for fishermen,the reinforcement of Famous Tourism Village for Yuye Village,the enhancement of environmental protection,and finally the endeavor of mining&spreading on Tanka culture.
