The integral gas film floating ring seal has the advantages of safety,stability,and strong anti-disturbance.It has become the most important form of sealing for the main bearing cavity of the aero engine,but in practical applications,the seal cannot be opened due to improper design or beyond the working range Or a large leak rate may cause problems such as seal failure and unsatisfactory sealing effect.In this paper,the theoretical research is carried out on the flow field of the integral gas film floating ring sealing system,the opening performance under different driving sequences,and the leakage characteristics under full operating conditions,and the design method of the floating ring seal is summarized.Principle test.Ansys-fluent is used to establish a finite element model of the floating ring flow field with front and rear flow channels,and the distribution law of pressure field,density field and velocity field of the compressible fluid during gap flow is obtained,revealing that the inlet effect is more obvious but there is almost no outlet.effect.By changing the different sealing parameters,the pressure loss rate at the inlet of the floating ring,the pressure loss coefficient and the change rule of the inlet cross-section flow rate under the corresponding conditions are obtained.The operating speed,shaft diameter,etc.are irrelevant.The pressure loss database of the aeroengine floating ring seal has been established,which provides great convenience for theoretical research and engineering applications.Through the analysis of the force of the floating ring and the establishment of the static component model of the seal assembly using Workbench,the calculation method of the maximum opening resistance and working gap of the floating ring under high temperature,high speed and interference mounting conditions is obtained,and the gas considering the pressure loss is thus established The finite element calculation model of the opening speed of the membrane floating ring summarizes the calculation process of the opening performance of the floating ring.The study found that the effect of each sealing parameter on the opening performance of the gas film floating ring under different driving sequences is very different.The opening speed and the load factor,the spring force of the wave spring,and the pressure difference are positively correlated with throttle The length is negatively related to the radial clearance;the opening speed when boosting first and then increasing the speed is positively related to the spring force of the wave spring,negatively related to the throttle length and operating temperature,and is almost not related to the load factor and radial clearance.The opening performance when pressing is better.The engineering design should fully consider whether the floating ring can be opened.If there are conditions to start,the opening performance should be compared before selecting the order in which the operating conditions are applied.Through the method of finite element analysis and numerical formula,the calculation method of the leakage rate of the primary and secondary sealing channels of the floating ring seal is proposed.The effects of each sealing parameter on the leakage rate and rigid-leakage ratio of the two leakage channels in different states are studied and the sealing parameters are given.Engineering recommended value.The results of the study indicate that the sealing system is a process in which the leakage rate gradually decreases and the stability of the gas film gradually increases from the start to the steady state.In addition,the best way to control the leakage rate of the sealing system is to control the throttle length and the sealing gap.The conventional design method and design process of the integral gas film floating ring seal are summarized,and the calculation software for the analysis of the working gap,opening resistance,eccentricity and leakage rate of the floating ring seal is compiled.The equivalent friction coefficient measurement device of the floating ring seal was used to measure the equivalent friction coefficient of the graphite ring side wall and the cavity side wall.A test bench for the opening speed and leakage rate of the floating ring seal was built.The opening speed and leakage rate of the floating ring under different sealing parameters were measured and compared with the theoretical calculation values.By studying the flow field,opening performance and leakage characteristics of the integral gas film floating ring seal,the mechanism of the floating ring seal is clarified,and the advantages of the floating ring seal are verified.Summarizing the design method of floating ring seals,the preparation of floating ring seal analysis software provides great support for the engineering design and structural optimization of aeroengine floating ring seals and saves a certain amount of time and cost.
