With the continuous innovation of cutting-edge science and technology and the support of national policies,new energy technology has been greatly developed and began to be widely used in various fields.This paper takes 50MW wind farm design as an example,through the evaluation and analysis of the wind energy resources in the construction area,carries out the site selection of the wind farm and the design of 110kV booster station in the area;builds the mathematical model of the main structure of the wind farm,and carries out simulation research on the grid-connection model of the wind farm.Firstly,this paper introduces the background and significance of the research,analyzes the current domestic and foreign research and development status of wind power generation and wind energy resource evaluation,including the macro location and micro location of wind farms.Then it introduces the theoretical analysis of wind power generation.Based on the overall structure of direct-driven permanent magnet wind farm,it introduces the mathematical model of wind turbine,the utilization coefficient of wind energy and the control strategy of pitch angle in the process of maximum wind energy capture;the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor;the mathematical model and control strategy of converter at machine side and grid side.Because the power generation of wind power is directly related to the wind power resource and parameters of wind turbine,the wind power resource data measured by local wind measuring tower is used as the basis for site selection through statistics and evaluation of wind power resource parameters in the wind farm;three schemes of wind power model comparison are given,and WTG145-3000 are selected by considering the investment cost and the economic performance which are based on the wind power resource data.After that,the installation height of the fan hub is selected and the arrangement scheme of the fan unit is optimized,and the comprehensive benefit and construction feasibility of the wind farm project are introduced.The primary side of the 110kV booster station of the wind farm is designed,and the scheme of the collector line layout and the main wiring of the booster station are given.The main electrical equipment is selected by calculating the short circuit current,and the equipment parameters and the list of equipment and materials at the primary side are given;the over-voltage protection scheme and grounding scheme of the primary side of the wind farm are given.The topology structure of 50MW wind farm for grid-connection is given.The grid-connection model of wind farm is simulated with different external wind speed on MATLAB/Simulink software.The simulation waveforms including under rated wind speed,higher than rated wind speed and equal to rated wind speed are analyzed and studied.The feasibility of grid-connection of 50MW direct-driven permanent magnet wind farm is verified.The work and shortcomings of this paper are also summarized and prospected at the end.
