The crankshaft thrust sliding bearing is mounted on the main bearing housing of the engine to balance the external axial force and function as an axial positioning.The diesel engine has a large output torque compared to other internal combustion engines.During the working process,the axial load of crankshaft thrust bearing is large,especially when the road condition is bad,the lubrication of the thrust bearing is more difficult,the working environment is more severe,the axial force is greater,and the temperature is higher.This is a challenge for conventional flat thrust bearings with low load carrying capacity and high operating temperatures.In order to improve the bearing characteristics and reliability of the crankshaft thrust sliding bearing for diesel engine to meet the normal working conditions in the harsh working environment,this paper was based on the fluid dynamic pressure lubrication theory,using the one-way heat fluid-solid coupling method was used to study the bearing characteristics of the slope-platform structure,the double slope-platform structure and the slope-platform crankshaft thrust sliding bearing with both edge seals under different structural parameters of different structures.The specific work is as follows:First,because the slope-platform structure crankshaft thrust sliding bearing is smaller than the conventional slope-platform thrust bearing,it is a narrow thrust bearing,so the conclusion of the conventional slope-platform thrust bearing may not be applicable to the structure.Therefore,this paper uses the finite element analysis method,using ANSYS software,to analyze in detail the influence of the bearing height ratio,the slope ratio,the number of tiles and the thickness of oil film on the bearing characteristics of the slope-platform structure crankshaft thrust bearing.Because the bearing shell is small in size and narrow in width,the bearing characteristics of different bearing bush height ratios of different tile numbers ware analyzed,and the optimal parameters of the slope-platform structure design ware obtained.Secondly,the influence law of the slope ratio and the slope height ratio on the bearing characteristics of the double slope-platform structure was analyzed,and the bearing characteristics of the double slope-platform structure and the slope-platform structure under the optimal structural parameters ware compared.Finally,the influence law of the width ratio of the slope-platform with both edge seals structure on its bearing characteristics was analyzed,and the optimal structural parameters are obtained,and compared with the bearing characteristics under the optimal structural parameters of the slope-plane structure.
