Project schedule management is one of the important parts of project management and an important indicator to measure the level of a project management.However,in the actual project management practice,there is often a phenomenon that the process duration is estimated to be too long or the project schedule is delayed.How to effectively control the project progress has become the focus of current project management.The critical chain can solve the two difficult management problems that exist in the project progress to a certain extent.The key chain technology can make up for the shortcomings in the traditional project schedule management method.Therefore,it has a good theoretical and practical significance for the study of the critical chain schedule.In view of the shortcomings in the project management of the project using the traditional project schedule management method,the influencing factors of the traditional project schedule management method are analyzed.On this basis,the key chain is introduced and the key chain technology is proposed for project management.(1)Through the system to explain the basic theory of project schedule management,constraint theory,key chain theory,through the comparative analysis of key chain technology and traditional engineering project schedule management methods,the superiority of the critical chain is affirmed.(2)Through the analysis of the uncertainty of the engineering process,the most optimistic method is used to eliminate the redundant safety time of the process,and the heuristic algorithm is used to adjust the resources.(3)By analyzing the influencing factors of the uncertainty of the buffer zone,this paper proposes a new method for calculating the uncertainty of the project,the resource tension,the position weight of the project process and the risk elasticity coefficient,so that the buffer is calculated.The setting of the district is more in line with the actual situation.(4)By analyzing the consumption characteristics of the buffer,an improved three-color monitoring method is proposed to monitor the buffer to facilitate monitoring of project implementation and make the project more successful.Through the actual engineering case calculation,the simulation model based on CPM/PERT project schedule and the simulation model based on the key chain project schedule are established,and the simulation results are analyzed by crystal ballsoftware.Research shows that building a project-based schedule management model based on critical chain has better effectiveness and stability.It provides a good reference and guiding significance for improving the project management level.
