Since entering the 21st century,manufacturing companies around the world have developed towards globalization and diversification.The problem of assembly line balance not only restricts the production efficiency of the manufacturing industry,but also plays a decisive role in the long-term good development of the enterprise.Statistics show that even in industrially developed countries such as the United States,about 5%-10%of their production time is due to the lack of a balanced production line.Company B is one of the world's leading manufacturers of home appliances,and its main products are RSQ products.In an increasingly competitive market environment,in order to be competitive,Company B must increase the efficiency of its assembly lines and increase its production capacity.There are many problems and low efficiency in the assembly line of RSQ product studied in this paper.Therefore,how to optimize the assembly line of RSQ products has become a practical issue.The paper summarizes and analyzes a large quantity of research methods for production line balance at home and abroad in recent years.The RSQ product assembly line is studied from the aspects of process analysis,production capacity analysis,motion analysis and layout analysis by using industrial engineering related theoretical methods and tools.After the specific problems are defined,the problems in the production line are solved by means of layout adjustment,movement adjustment and process integration of industrial engineering,and combined with the particle swarm algorithm to improve the genetic algorithm to adjust the sequence of processes and the number of stations.Finally,the paper uses the production line balance rate and smoothing index to compare the data results before and after optimization,and briefly describes and evaluates the optimization effect.After optimization,the balance rate of the RSQ product line increased by 39.27%,and the smoothing index decreased by 35.6529.It shows that the research has a good effect on solving the balance production line and improving the production efficiency of enterprises.In this paper,there are 24 figures,17 tables,and 51 references.
