The automobile industry is developing rapidly with the progress of society.At the same time,the customer's demand for automotive products is also increasing.Seat,as an important part of the car,its specifications and models are also increasingly diversified.To cope with this change and meet the diverse needs of customers,seat manufacturing plants adopt the form of mixed assembly.It is a form that a variety of seats are assembled simultaneously.However,the assembly work of different types of seats are different.Therefore,it is very important to do a good job in the design of assembly line.Traditional assembly line design is based on the experience of experienced engineers.Its scientificity and objectivity remains to be doubted.Based on this,on the basis of the theory of assembly line,combining the intelligent optimization algorithm and the computer simulation knowledge,the seat assembly line is optimized with the use of the Matlab software and the Flexsim simulation software.Firstly,common movements of seat assembly process in JC company has been gathered and analyzed in this paper.Based on the standard working time theory and the MODAPTS method,a standard time table has been built.The operation time of all assembly work,which provides data basis for further research is obtained.Secondly,the priority chart of mixed products is made according to the work priority of three products of JC company.The double-population genetic algorithm of the improved genetic algorithm is adopted to solve the problem of class II production line balance.In this process,the coding,decoding,selection,crossover and mutation are designed based on the theoretical knowledge of genetic algorithm.And the code is written based on Matlab software.Then,the validity of the program is verified with the Jackson problem,and this program is used to optimize the seat assembly line of the JC company.Eventually,the optimal job assignment scheme is obtained.Finally,based on the minimal production set and the Flexsim simulation software,the simulation model is built.All possible sorting schemes are simulated,and the optimal scheduling scheme is found eventually.In general,the research results of this paper have formed a set of system which is suitable for the design and study of the seat assembly line.And,the research of this paper can provide some guidance for the enterprise in solving the balance problem of production line and arrange production plan,and provide some reference for the followup researchers.
