The improvement of flight training quality and efficiency is always the concern of aviation industry.In order to overcome the shortcomings of traditional flight training assessment based mainly on the personal experience of flight instructors,this paper studies the quantitative evaluation of rectangular traffic pattern training quality,combined with the structure of rectangular traffic pattern and the characteristics of the integrated airborne Garmin1000 avionics system.As a result,a comprehensive quality evaluation method for rectangular traffic pattern training,which combines subjective evaluation of flight state based on GIS system and objective evaluation of integrated avionics data,is presented.This paper focuses on the following aspects:(1)Method for extracting sample data of rectangular traffic pattern training.According to the structural characteristics of rectangular traffic pattern training,as well as the difference with other training subjects,the method for extracting the sample data of rectangular traffic pattern training is designed.Based on this method,the samples of nearly 500 rectangular traffic pattern training of Cessna 172 R aircraft are collected.(2)Subjective evaluation method of rectangular traffic pattern training quality.A reference flight path template is generated by using Origin software to analyze the rectangular traffic pattern training data selected from a plurality of flight instructors.With the help of Matlab software,the student pilots' flight parameter data and benchmark flight trajectory data are generated as KML files and presented on the Google earth platform.With reference to the benchmark flight path template,the inspector observes the quality of rectangular traffic pattern training from multiple angles and gives a subjective assessment.(3)Objective evaluation model for rectangular traffic pattern training quality.In order to make a scientific and objective evaluation of rectangular traffic pattern training quality,a method of dividing the stages of rectangular traffic pattern training is designed.Indicators for assessment are selected at each stage,according to which,the models of flight exceeding limit event judgment,point evaluation,segment evaluation and fitting evaluation are designed.On this basis,an objective evaluation model is constructed.(4)Weight setting of the rectangular traffic pattern training quality evaluation model.For each stage and each indicator,the weight is calculated by expert ranking method and analytic hierarchy process.By integrating subjective assessment,objective assessment model and over bound event assessment,a quality assessment model for rectangular traffic pattern training is established,and rectangular traffic pattern training samples are selected for evaluation.The results show that this method can be used to evaluate the quality of rectangular traffic pattern training.
