The snow and ice on roads cause serious traffic jams and traffic accidents in winter, affecting people's normal travel and constraining economic development. In order to ensure unimpeded roads and traffic safety, improve road capacity and operational efficiency,it is necessary to take effective measures to clear roads from snow and ice.Snow melting agent has been widely used at home and abroad for its ability to remove ice and snow efficiently. With the large number of applications of traditional salt snow melting agents, the negative effects brought about by it have gradually attracted people's attention. In this paper, combining the research status of snow melting agents at home and abroad, from the perspective of environmental protection, the preparation of liquid spray snow melting agents with low freezing point, good ice melting capacity, and biodegradable acetic acid-based materials was selected, and solid-state snow-melting agent were prepared on this basis.By testing the performance of anti-condensation ice asphalt pavement(anti-condensation ice asphalt mixture and anti-condensation ice emulsified asphalt coating)based on solid additive snow melting agent. The feasibility of using solid-state snow-melting agent for anti-condensation ice asphalt pavement was discussed. The main research contents and results are:By analyzing the mechanism of melting ice and snow through snow melting agent,it is determined that freezing point and ice melting capacity are the main indicators, and potassium acetate, sodium acetate, sodium chloride, and ammonium acetate are selected as the main components from different raw materials,The simplex center of gravity design method was used to design the test program.,using the "planning solution" in Excel to draw the best ratio of self-made liquid spray snow melting agent: potassium acetate: sodium acetate: ammonium acetate = 30%: 30%: 40%.Similarly,solid-state snow-melting agents were prepared. The optimum ratio was as follows: potassium acetate: sodium acetate: sodium chloride = 40%: 20%: 40%.By comparing self-made liquid spray snow melting agent and commonly used chlorine salt snow melting agent(sodium chloride and calcium chloride),the main characteristics of self-made liquid sprayed snow melting agent were studied: ice melting capacity,pH value, and corrosion of carbon steel, effects and damage to plants. The results showed that the pH of self-made liquid spray snow melting agent was between 6~10.Its ice melting capacity is over 90% of the chlorine salt snow melting agent. The corrosion effect on carbon steel and the damage to plants are all less than the chlorine salt snow melting agent. It shows good environmental protection. The anti-condensation ice asphalt pavement based on self-made solid snow-melting agent was discussed. The study was conducted in two different ways from asphalt mixture and emulsified asphalt coating. The self-made solid-state snow-melting additive has an adverse effect on the water stability and high temperature performance of the asphalt mixture, but its anti-condensation ice effect is good.Self-made solid-state snow-melting agent has little effect on the adhesiveness of emulsified asphalt, the anti-sliding performance of the coating is reduced, and the anti-condensation ice effect is better.By comparing the economic and social benefits and environmental benefits of different snow melting agents,It can be seen that the cost of self-made liquid spray snow melting agent is slightly higher than that of chlorine salt snow melting agent. However,it avoids the waste caused by spreading solid snow melting agents.Spray snow melting agents are more efficient, save resources. And it has biodegradability. It shows good environmental benefits.
